AC lines are to short to bend can I use an external cooler?

Line too short to bend. Can I just use a radiator or preferably an oil cooler(trans) zip tied to the front of the AC instead. So instead of submerging it just blows across the oil cooler fins? I never heard or saw that anywhere. Did I miss it or won't it be worth it?

A makeshift water chiller-

A window AC unit taken apart and evaporator dunked in the res. My AC lines are way too short.

A radiator circulating res nutes that sits directly in front of a complete window AC unit.
