AC thermostat???

anyone know a way to hook up a thermostat to a window style AC unit? Or ifthere issome kind of timer/thermostat that i could just plug it into? the unit i have has a temp dial but i think it runs constantly just does cool when temps are in the right area, seems to waste quit a bit of power. + rep for anyone who helps:joint:

yeah bro check amazon for a temp switch (7 day programable) but you may also need an adapter so watch the plug style. good luck and stay high
