Acapulco gold flower

Week three of flower and first grow leaf issues even with fox farm nutrients once a week. I water them until water comes out the bottom every two days
No heat issues
Thank you!
I assume your plants are from Barney's AG --- Afghanica genes are much in evidence...

If there are indeed any AG genes in there, they're well diluted.

Sorry, but those look much like any random hybrid and it's waaay, way too 'high' a price to pay for shorter flowering...

PaulO, I gotta say pure Acapulco Gold looks nothing like what you have there.

I have grown AG in the past and it is a distinctive sativa, with large, long, narrow, lightish-coloured fan leaves which appear to droop slightly as the central leaflets are noticeably longer than the rest.

I have seedlings of MMS AG just up and first leaves are very skinny, so at least I know it's sativa.

I have fingers and toes crossed that they're the real deal, but with the 24 wk FP, a long wait is in order...

But, for all I know I may have Colombians, or something from Central America.

I'll keep you guys posted on progress, natch.

Hmmmm I’m a new grower so I’m very new to this , I’ve only seen a few videos here and there to learn some stuff. I do know that I get all of my seeds from growerchoiceseeds in California , I’ve gotten many diff strains and didn’t test any of them. Thank you!

Hey paulobrandon96
I don’t think growerschoiceseeds is a breeder but is a retailer of different breeders seeds.
I’m growing AG from Barney’s farm, a breeder and my girls look related to yours. I
I found what I hope are true landrace AG seeds from a breeder Mass Medical Strains but have to wait till my current grow is finished to try them. Good luck with your grow!

That's not AG. It's some kind of sativa dominant hybrid. It looks like you've got nutrient deficiency issues. This, what I've attached, is more or less AG. It's actually a throwback (rare) of my F2 hybrids, AG x Black Domina. It has been vegging since February and just recently began flowering, I don't expect it to finish until November. Check out the light green colour, the long narrow leaves, the central leaf much longer. I've got AG seed in my personal seedbank but it must be over 20 years old by now.

You're welcome.

You'll probably get reasonable buds, anyway, but they likely won't have the electric intensity, or the instant, flying hilarious high AG would give...

If mine don't come up to scratch, I'll be sooo fucking devastated because I'll know what it is I'm missing.

I've grown Barneys Farm AG. It's a hybrid. It even says on their website "sativa dominant".
Sativa %: 70%
Indica %: 30%

It's still good regardless of authenticity. But I think it's funny that they put a TM after Acapulco Gold. It's not as if they could enforce anything if someone else wanted to sell a strain and call it Acapulco Gold.

If you want some real South American genetics look at some of these. But they're all going to take 14 weeks to finish.

Cannabiogen Red Snake "Mexican/Columbian"

Hmm. Didn’t know you can find out the strain by looking at the leaves?
With all these random phenos popping up. How do you keep up!?

how’s the smoke?:peace:
I pride on a good cure but the smoke report is a head high, nice daytime smoke.

Disclaimer, I really don't have a solid knowledge to describe smoking as I just had a 10 year stopped smoking stretch.
No jail lol, just stopped.
