Acapulco Gold - What is up with this strain?

Has anyone heard of Acapulco Gold, the legendary Mexican strain.

Are there still clones or seeds of it available? And also, does it hold a candle to some of the good BC and Holland strains developed in the past couple decades?

I personally think hydroponic should be able to be as good as acapulco gold, but meh.. I wouldn't know any better...

Is there any way to get seeds/clones of it?

great question i've heard of people smoking it recently so i know it exists but i think it would be very hard to get ahold of seeds or even clones

I've heard even down in Acapulco mexico its not the same as it was back in the 60's and 70's..
Nowadays its been inbred so much its not the legendary strain it used to be.
I'm sure you can get your hands on some if you go down to Acapulco mexico, but don't expect the stuff of legends..

I personally have some growing right now. I'm still not sure if its pure or even true acapulco gold but i do have to say its one of the prettiest plants I've ever had the pleasure to grow. I obtained the plant through a local dispensary with my MMJ license. I paid $25 for the clone when it was only 4 inches tall. It has been in my care for a month now and its already 16 inches tall and developing evenly without any problems.

I have to date cracked,sprouted in soil cups then into hydro 30 of these seeds....

Most sproted but all had mutated leaves....there answer to the problem is send more of the bad seeds....$180 down the drain
