accidentally "defoliated" a plant turning it into an experiment

So umm yeah.
Light fell burned my leaves.
so now i have 6 bud sites and one fan leaf at bottom.....
my plan is keep flowering.
(I have no room in veg box)
Worst case ill get a gram or two
but i did a lot of digging and it seems defoliation actually increases yield.
so i know for sure the victim is a smaller yielder, however it is more potent.
sativa dom
my setup is window light and a 23watt cfl (until i move this is best i can do)
Strains are unknown

I'm also going to lst and they were supercropped. (I know for sure it will still flower) i did this last year when birds stripped my leaves off my outdoor plants.
idk if it adds yield i got about an oz off a plant that came from a 20$ sac with hundreds of seeds and the potency was up there to
however not knowing the strains makes it impossible to know for sure.
I'm just gonna do it bc of space

So you have a stalk with one leaf at the bottom flowering with a 23 w cfl, forget it, start again and this time don't smoke the leaves.

Have to agree with aimaim. I started to defoliate based off of a ton of reading I was doing, since then I have definitely given it up.

Soooo many reasons why. First off, the leaves not only tell you the status/health of your plant, but they are the "cushion" in case case things go wrong. When you get deficiencies and stuff they start at the leaf and work their way in. If you don't have any leaves its gonna start fucking up the buds right away.

Not to mention, what good is more light when there isn't a leaf to convert the energy? Its a great experiment, and I suggest you keep it up until it finishes. You'll notice a huge difference in taste especially, that's where all the carbs are stored.
