Hey all, so my latest endeavor is in a swampy, boggy pine forest. 6 DE bulbs, 3 ton AC, and $1000 power bill. Sigh.
The well water comes out around pH 4. The hot water comes out smelling of hydrogen sulphide, so clearly there is plenty of sulphur (sulphate/sulphite?) in the ground. I'm also reading that fulvic and humic acid are common in the piney peat bogs and can be quite beneficial. The RO water still comes out around pH4. So far for flower I use RO, 3 part liquid nutes at half strength, open sesami/beastie bloomz/cha ching at half or 1/4 strength, calmag, enzymes, and potassium silicate. Recently i have stopped using the RO and I'm wondering if there's too much sulphur thus locking out other nutes.
My question is this: if i wanted to switch to powder nutes and no RO is there a combo I could use that is lower in sulphur? I found a thread here about using jacks citrus and just using potassium sulphate as booster. I figure I have enough sulphate.
