ACMPR no storage limits?

So buddy just got his paperwork for the farm this year, 200 outdoor or some ridiculous amount like that. Anyways, he was showing me the paperwork and I noticed that there is no storage limit listed. Last years license limit...he was good for 125,000g for storage. I’m assuming as there is no limit listed, that there is no maximum storage limits now? The 150g possession limit is in there still...but nothing for storage?

You're right, I just checked. The sections for Maximum Storage Limit, and even Storage Address are not on this years registration (Just got my renewal a couple weeks ago)

I didn't even notice that....
Yeah no storage but maximum you can carry is a quarter pound. No storage limits at your place of residence.

Is this something to be happy about too you?

Well, since I never had excess crops last year, I barely had ANY in storage :( So really, it doesn't make any difference... lol...

I did think it was strange that recreational users had no limit, but medical did...

Anyone know how long they are taking to process new applications now? My buddy said it took a month for his to come, anyone else know if this is accurate?

Nope. The maximum a medical patient can carry is 150g and a rec person 30g. You can't combine the two. You CAN add 4 plants to your med garden tho...
you can carry 180 for a patient. the 150 is the medical and you can still have 30 g rec. that info came from the Crown/Health Canada. hopefully that is temporary as we just got the 10 day supply. 30 is on the way!

it's taking far longer than a month for growing. if you go through a LP it's faster....but going through a LP isn't a good thing
I assume you mean buy through a licensed producer LP? If that's what you mean mine took about a week or so before I could order, meanwhile I doubt that I will be ordering through them. I grow my own, 4 plant's is almost enough but I want to be able to keep clones and mothers. Just play the waiting game now I suppose.

^^^^^^^^^WRONG AGAIN!

Chris said, "I'm not sure who told you that your opinion was the only one that mattered son - but they fucking lied to you."

The only problem is some of your opinions are based on complete bullshit and, worse, you then try and pass it off as ice-cream; therefore,I have a duty to call it out when I see it.

If I'm, factually, wrong I have no problem when someone points it out because I seek accuracy - not self-importance.

Chris said, "Seems you have this bizarre infatuation going on with me though. I'm going to put you the fuck on ignore before you come over and start humping my leg. Freak."

I have a bizarre infatuation for TRUTH and if you are offended by that it is probably because, as Dana said, "YOU ARE THE PEOPLE WE ARE PROTESTING AGAINST."

^^^^^^^^^^^ IMO this is the correct answer from everything I understand. Further, here is an article that states the same thing:

https://www.theleafnews.com/dearherb/dear-herb-im-a-registered-medical-cannabis-user-can-i-carry-more-than-30-grams-in-public-499170381.html

"According to this section of the regulations, whatever quantity of cannabis you're allowed to possess as a medical cannabis registree (your 40 gram medical possession limit) is now in addition to any other quantities you are permitted to possess under the Cannabis Act (the 30 gram non-medical possession limit).

Therefore, the answer to your question is yes, as a registered cannabis user, you're now authorized to possess your medical cannabis limit on top of the 30 gram non-medical cannabis possession limit in public, but the specific possession limits for each kind of cannabis still apply. (I would recommend keeping your medical cannabis separate from the recreational cannabis, just to be safe.)

The same logic applies to home cannabis cultivation, as we explored in a previous edition of Dear Herb. If you're a registered medical cannabis user who's authorized to grow your own cannabis for medical purposes, the number of medical plants you're allowed to grow is in addition to the four recreational cannabis plants per household permitted under federal law. (Remember, not all provinces allow home cultivation!)"

All that to tell me I was wrong? You must have a really, really pathetic life. Now fuck off.

agreed..vianna was basically correct.

i forgot also about adding 30 g rec..like big deal
Sorry Mom, no cigar for you!

Basically correct ? LOL ...He was COMPLETELY wrong.

Chris tried correcting "FarmerJ" and made a confident and misleading statement, "Nope. The maximum a medical patient can carry is 150g and a rec person 30g. You can't combine the two."

He didn't forget to add 30 grams rec, he said: "You can't combine the two".

Either he is a complete liar or he is completely ignorant. I'll give him a benefit of doubt and say, he is just plain ignorant. Bold, erroneous, statements made in ignorance, are the statements of an ignoramus!

Misleading medical patients is a big deal. If he took the time to go on Health Canada's web page, he could have given an accurate answer. According to Health Canada, medical patients can carry a total of 180 grams:
https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/drugs-medication/cannabis/medical-use-cannabis.html#_Possession_and_personal

From above link:

"Public possession limits remain the same for authorized patients who are registered with a federally licensed seller or with Health Canada:
  • The lesser of 150 grams or a 30-day supply of dried cannabis (or the equivalent in cannabis product) in addition to the 30 grams allowed for non-medical purposes"

So I can carry 150g and 30g in a sealed container? Or does it all have to be in a sealed container? And I assume my wife can carry another 30g in a sealed container on top of what I can carry?
