i gave my application to the clinic to mail for me in february because they won't give you the medical document and health canada didn't start processing it until like 2 weeks ago, said they just received it 3 weeks ago, pieces of shit!

I think there’s a ‘bit’ of a grey area here.
I as understand things:
Acmpr regulations dictate that your prescription is for the exact period the doctor signs for starting from the date of sognature I.E. your doctor signed feb 1/2018 for 12months your acmpr prescription is only valid until Jan 31/2019.
BUT Because Health Canada cant process paperwork they’ve given all new registrations their full term from the date of approval under section 56. I.e. say you’re approved on Apr 1/2018 your registration is valid until Mar 31/2019
This leaves the aforementioned ‘grey’ area. What happens with the time between prescription signing and approval? It seems to me that you’ve got a damn good argument BUT that argument would have to be made in court.
JUST DO YOUR THING .its a formality..its not like they will deny you..

I hope they try, we saw how well it worked for them with the MMAR, I doubt that they want to create another mass of never expiring grow licensesI gotta real good feeling this license ticket wont last long. will be challenged and made null and void due to unforeseen bullshit!

I've been reading through the forum and am really dissapointed. I dont understand how ACMPR can get away with this, you dont buy a car after you register it. A registraition should be nothing other than informing the govt what youre doing, not asking permission to do it. This undermines the Dr's legit prescription, the case that was won in the supreme court and I've heard there is a class action taking place now of people who are suing them for money lost on renting a spot etc. Sadly my application was recieved on the ides of March. I did get my number over the phone but its still processing being a noob with a clean record I assumed a couple months but read 5, 7? I dont want to wait that long, I hate having to buy my meds from an overpriced LP. Being low income I took the money I spent on medication and put it into buying what I need to grow, tent lights etc. I wish legalization would happen so that I can start at least 4 then I have some sort of supply. Was hoping July HAH! I guess the Monopoly mans got to work out the kinks to maximize profits first.

A lot of people here will tell you to just start, I honestly wish I started before papers arrived but there were circumstances which prevented it.

This CONTROL aspect they are after so friggin badly will end up seeing people getting fucked beyond belief just because the morons dont understand which way is up!

Cant Car Insurance find out your medical? They know about strokes and what not....didnt they let your helth info to be spread among different government agencies who require it? I thought as much..
Being legal will SCREW YOU in ways you dont see coming!! AT one time it may have helped but the way things are going.. Having people know who you are will only fuck you!

I'm hesitant too because I was in a private group and read a comment about a guy who started around 70 plants someone called him in and though he wasnt charged they took them all and of course destroyed them. I'm glad he wasnt charged but I dont understand why they didnt just leave him alone. 70 plants is a lot of money through seeds, utitlities and medication costs to lose. HC should atleast give a wait time or if they changed the time to grow from when they approve it instead of the Dr's prescription date, should atleast email you on the day it's approved so you can start, and then send the certificate through the mail.
Curious to know, did anyone here have an inspector come by and check out your rooms after your certificate was recieved?
