I found a 130 oz acrylic air tight jar that I would like to cure in...would this be ok???

Yeah bud, i don't see why not.. as long as it's air tight.

Light destroy's bud....I find the container I want then wrap it in Ordinance(Black Duct) Tape.....

Glass/ceramic/porcelain would be less reactive. Acrylic is a plastic and may leach VOCs and/or absorb oils from the buds and may cause the material to degrade.

I agree with bellcore, glass is much better, not sure I'd trust acrylic.
