Adding blurples

Hi so a friend of mine is selling 2 blurples cheap half the price and I wanted advice on adding them to my grow rooms.


Currently I am running 1 hps and 1 spider farmer sf2000 in one room and 2 HPS in another approximately 2m x 2m and 3.5m x 3.5m 1.8m height.

which rooms would be best to add the blurples to? And would you say they are even worth adding to the rooms?

Both your rooms are under lit so add to either room that you want to increase canopy.
Each light should cover 2x2ft or 2.5x1.5ft

Ah really but they are fine for veg right?
Just wondering, if I was to use hps how many would you suggest I use inside each room.

2m x 2m room with zero walkway space would be 4 x 600w hps.

About 12x 600w hps to light up the whole 3.5x3.5m room

Obviously you want walkways and wont light every inch of the room, only the canopy space.
So the bigger room you could use 6x 600w hps , two rows of 3x 600s with a walkway down the middle.

Just think one 600w hps per square meter.

As for veg, 50%-100% of the wattage. The LEDs will do better in veg than flower. Probably cover 3x3 ish(ft)

Oh wow that’s a lot more light than I expected. ALOT more. I will try to add as much as I can. Yes I’ll try make a walkway and then have the lights each side of it.
