adding molasses to DWC without issues?

Why would you want to add that thing in? What kind of benefit are you trying to achieve?
Search using unsulphured molasses in flower and you'll have pages upon pages of people using it in place of products like bud candy.
Not going to use it because of my dwc seems pretty dialed in now. Plus of everyone's response. Thank you everyone for your kind help.

I'm quite certain adding sugar to your res is a bad idea. It has no benefit whatsoever since roots can't take in sugar, and can do a lot of harm since it will feed the bacteria that will in turn cause root problems.

Dont add it to DWC..

Carbohydrates, like sugars can cause so much trouble... Even in soil you only add small ammounts. In fact your DWC acts like a brewer of sorts and with no other beneficials in the mix you are making a breeding ground for pythium.

Had a slight iron deficiency and the calmag seemed to help a lot. But I'm thinking of adding the molasses and I'm worried it may cause some issues with my setup. I did see that it contains iron as well but I'm just concerned.
I have the wholesome organic brand. Will this cause any issues ladies and gentlemen?
Just an opinion

Ditch the flora series and the AN.. stuff and the molasses. Sounds like you're trying to correct a problem but making it worse. Flora series has calcium, and your water should too, on top of that youre hitting it with more calcium.. I know calcium is an immobile nutrient but... And really you only need the Micro and the Bloom...

Go with a one part formula like GH Flora Nova and Floralicious.. and tap water ~100PPM, ammend if desired.

Good point on the calcium. I just started a different thread asking how how the plants looked. Tons of pics.
It seems like the buds are growing slowly and it's probably from too much calcium. Makes sense. Flushing sounds like it's in order.

I'll look into another nutrient mix for the next batch. Just want to finish this time but I'll back off a little and see what happens. Thank you
