Adding more red light with led lighting.

Hello everyone. I have a mars hydro 300. I am vegging just 1 plant. When I start to flower I will add more red light. My question is when I add more red light, do I still use the mars 300 also or do I leave that light off and just use all red lighting?

You want as much energy for flower as your grow can handle, so def plan to keep using the 300, keeping distance from canopy (avoid light burn) and temps in to consideration.

I use a G8 Deep Red Bloom Booster

• All Red 630nm & 660nm for FLOWERING / BLOOM

With my Mars series II 600 and run them with my light cycle.

Nice. OP I added a 2ft AgroMax Pure UV bulb to my flower this run. Things are frosty but with three weeks left I'm still evaluating. An add like that G8 ufo will surely help.
