Adding sugars and sweeteners to soil

Hello everyone! This thread is to share information on the pros and cons of adding different sugars and sweeteners to soil. Any and all information is welcome, tips and tricks as well as cautionary tales. Thanks for checking in and happy growing.

Soooooo, I came across some interesting stuff on YouTube about adding sweeteners and flavoring to your soil for plant absorption. Namely, LorAnn flavoring oils. Does anyone have any experience with using them or any other brand of extract/oil to enhance the smell and flavor profile in plants???

I've been using blackstrap molasses tea in flower for the potassium as well as it feeds the beneficial's in my soil, as I was getting potassium deficiency. .Seems to work well, and it's cheap...and I keep saying I'm gonna make some badass cookies

Sugars are just for microbes. Dont use more than a teaspoon per gallon of water. Too much sugar will cause you problems.
If you want better flavor, make sure your soil is well made and your environment is good. There's no such thing as magic here.
