Adding UV to a grow tent to reduce PM

Lots of articles, many of them older so I am not sure if using UV ist still considered a good method to control PM.

I was wondering if I could drop a few of these in a 4x4 tent, have them run 30? minutes everyday while I am not in the room. Would it do anything to help, is this just not even enough to help?

Really confused on the subject, looking for some basic guidance or a good article/thread to start with.

if UV works, what level of UV do you need? you can buy some potent UV bulbs but if used to much they will turn your leaves into leather and kill the plant.

i wonder if high levels of CO2 for a short time would kill it too?

Im in a tent no room for dehumidifier. Good ventilation and circulation do the trick for me. Try a sulfer burner. Kills pm and any bug problems. Make sure its taken care of before harvest. Smoaking pm causes serious pulmonary issues
 
Clean the area, dehu the room instead. Where im from plants get plenty of UV outdoor (extremely high year around,sunburn in december type shit) and still they can rot within a week of high RH or rain.

Nope sry man preventive only.
Maby in the future grow pm resistant strains. Strawberry cake is a good one thats pm resistant. Grew it in a tent with w widow and pineapple express. Pm spred to everything but didnt touch the strawberry cake
 
Im in a 4x4 with 4 plants that have consumed the entire space. I have a dehumidifier, but its outside the tent and I dont think I have enough airflow on the plants because there is no room (2 small stationary fans plus a scrubber pulling air through the bottom. Planning to change everything on the next run. AC/Dehumidifier will be in the grow space rather than trying to pull air through it, along with the ability to wall mount some fans, really bummed. Everything was looking fantastic, especially for a first grow. It was all lower leaves so I did buy some SM-90 to spray on it, but I am not sure it's going to work out for me.

I grow indoors, set the value once on a dehuey and have never seen mildew or humidity over 60% on my meters. I've grow hundreds of strains in the same space, no uv lights no voodoo at all, but the dehuey is a preventative

Yeah, I got one late, and have had some issues. Should be fine moving forward.
