Advanced nutrients in rdwc?

Advanced nutrients claim pH perfect technology. I'm using it in rDWC currently and the pH is 7.5!! I contacted advanced nutrients and they say that their nutrient is available between 4-8ph and not to pH the solution. Should I believe this? The plants are fine it's confusing.

What pH you end up on the solution depends on the source water and if you add anything else to the mix. It's not really "pH perfect" in any sense of the word. You use pH down or up to set pH in hydroponics. Maybe you add a potassium silicate product that raises pH?

Cheers!

Well the rhino skin I use is potassium silicate. I usually pre mix everything in a tank and add air stones, the air always causes pH to rise. The source water is just regular tap pH 6.5 and ec .4 it's fairly good. I just don't get it. You're supposed to pH to 5.8-6.3 but they tell me not to

They don't have a rats as clue of what they're talking about! pH at 6.3 and call it a day! It also depens a little bit on the plant food and rate of uptake if you have a downward or upward curve on pH swing. The typical is to have it slowly raising.

I've used tons more pH down(phosporic acid) compared to pH down(potassium hydroxide) in hydro.

All the best of luck!

AN is known for selling outlandish BS stories about their unicorn piss in a bottle.

Another vote to run it at pH6 like any other nutrient solution.

Unicorn piss in a bottle . Here here I'll do exactly that. The way they talk to you like this is miracle stuff you don't understand. I know they have the synthetic chelates EDTA DTPA and EDDHA which keeps things such as iron etc available in a wide pH range but that doesn't mean every macro and micro nutrient.

I have been using advanced nutrients for about 6 years now. Haven't checked my PH since. If they look healthy don't change a thing.
