Advanced Nutrients, is R.Osmosis water required? Running hot!

Hey everyone, usually a supersoil guy but I've recently invested in a autopot system and just gearing up for the next grow. I've started top watering since my clones are still small and just planted.

my water is pH 7.5
and 120-150ppm

So I installed a hose carbon filter, two in a row actually to fill my reservoir and watering pots and have gotten my tds around 80-100ppm so my question is this,

I've added
1.0 ml/l sensi grow a/b
2.0 ml/l voodo
1.0 ml/l calmag (growing in coco).

My pH settled at 6.2 so I dropped it down to 5.8, my ppm's though were 950ppm!!
Now ive read that A.Nutrients recommended nute regiment is way to hot and seems like most are running 1.5-2.0 ml/l when the plants are fully underway. Should I just ignore my measurements and just fertilize to get the ppms I want (500 early veg, 800 ful veg, 1000 - 1200 flower).

Naturally I added some more water to get tds to around 600ppm which is still on the high side for me.

I've never had issues with other companies nutes but really loved the idea of the pH perfect line, and I have to say its working wonderfully. No signs of burns or anything like that yet but just wanted to field anyone else results with this line.

how many times did you rinse your coco? and did you pre-charge it with cal/mg?

so I never rinsed my coco, I'm using the foxfarms cocoloco so I'm under the assumption that this stuff is ready to go, should be for the price lol. I just added about 30% more perlite. I did however rinse and pre-charge my hydroton at the bottom of the pots (autopot thing i guess) but thats it so far.

that's all i got for ya. if it's not pre-rinsed, you generally get a really high runoff. i hated coco when i tried it. @MickFoster can give you better advice than me.

so just to clarify for yourself, I haven't bothered checking runoff yet. the cocoloco is good to go out of the bag and the clones just went in there last week so they just got their second watering. I'm strictly talking about the pH and tds of my nutrient (reservoir) water solution. Your the man, appreciate the help.

my bad, i thought you meant the runoff was 950. i'd check the runoff then. that's a good way to tell how rinsed the coco is/was. it should be close to 950 if it's good. if it's way higher than that, then it wasn't rinsed.

another tip with coco: always feed to runoff and don't let it dry out.

well that is the issue exactly, I will measure run off next water but once in the autopot measuring runoff wont be doable, just reading ppm in reservoir to see if their drinking more water than nutes.

Well if anyone knows anything please chime in, little lost here. Especially after dropping $700 on advanced nutrients complete line lol

do you have apic of an autopot? i've heard of them but never seen one. if anything, i think you "might" be better off with just hydroton in the whole thing and skip the coco.

it matters if your ppm meter is set to the .5 or .7 multipler for us to actually know how high you are running. That being said, I run floraduo at 800+ ppm in veg feeding every time with the .5 multipler with zero burning. If your plants look good then I dont see an issue.

People put too much stake in ppm levels.. You really only need to know it to see if it is going up, or down, during your cycle. Getting schedules down to the perfect 50 ppm is exhausting and wholly unnecessary! Use your measurements, then just watch which way it swings. It's always going to be different based on your base water anyway.
