Advanced Nutrients Organic Line (iguana juice etc.) Good or Over Priced???

Just bought ANs organic line ;iguana juice, f1, h2, tarantula, piranha, voodoo juice, bud candy, sensizym, nirvana, organic B and bud ignitor.Does anyone have any advice or has anyone tried this line ????
People say Pureblend pro is as good and cheaper , but you need twice as much pbp as iguana so its same price.I know pbp has more stuff in it like humic acid etc. And the really expensive beneficials ;voodoo, taran and piran are only needed twice in veg and twice in bloom , so again not that much, correct me if im wrong please.

I seen a test of nutes an AN far beat anything else. The test was on 10 plants and each had a differant line of nutes. I know an proforms above the rest but I have yet to get into them so I cant answer a deffinitive yes. I know they are expensive but they are worth it.I know there hydro nutes self PH so you may not have to be as dillagent with the PH before you feed.

I use an synthetic and organic both lines. I know they say bud ignitor is organic but its not, the first ingredient is monopotassium phosphate, that just isnt organic. I do use the ignitor in my synthetic line but not until second week, if you use it first week in my own experience Ive found my plants dont stretch at all and I just dont like that. Also certain strains dont like certain nutes. My larry og loves the sensi bloom but hates absolutely hates the iguana juice. still a decent producer just looks miserable. my blugoo on the other hand loves both. I would also recommend the carbo load, I got the most insane root growth when using voodoo, piahna, tarantula and carbo. I transfered from a one to a five and had to re-transplant after 12 days, she was drinking a gallon a day and roots spining cricles around the pot. Im sold on advanced, super expensive but worth it, helped me step my game up for sure. Just got ph perfect sensi, life is sooo much easier. I would also recommend the mother earth super tea with the organic line. I have tried almost every organic company out there except bio bizz and advanced organics has blown everything out of the water quadruple the yleds of roots organic, earth juice, bio canna, general organics, age old, humboldt organic or fox farm. My best is advice is if youre growing high value crops feed them a diet that is targeted toward that particular plant, not tulips or cucumbers or tomatoes. Good purchase I know you will be thrilled with the results.

Not sure if anybody will even look a m thread it I will post some killer pics of my 4 ft girls. I used pure blend pro for veg but when I flipped and used AN the leaves got a nicer color and just look better.

#1. Use the nutrients as you would Hydro nutes. Make a reservoir to mix and activate nutrients in, and mix everything in the reservoir first.

#2 you should have been given a guide line or chart. FOLLOW IT.

These are used to keep the soil or water alive. they only need to be used once every 2-4 weeks depending on conditions.

I use the same line-up you do, and I get great results. I grow in Roots Organic soil in 5 gal. Smart Pots under a Lumigrow ES330. Make sure to use the Rhino Skin, and the Bud Factor X along with your base nutrient (Iguana Bloom) during weeks 3-6. Follow the feeding chart as it is shown, and you can't go wrong. nice looking buds!! Im a little cnfused about iguana juices doses.The old dosage was 15ml per litre , then it went to 3.5 per litre . on the bottle it says 3.5 per litre, on the recipe chart i have it says to give 800ml to 300litre reservoir to obtain a ppm of 805.(with additives), but when i put in 800ml the ppm went to like 260 so to get 805ppm i had to add 2.2 litre total. So if i follow bottle at 3.5 ml per litre the ppm is 350. Plants look killer but im just not sure what to feed next. I hope this stuff produces some crazy stuff because it is really diluted. I thought it was cheap because the dosage was so small at 3.5 per litre but i dont think that is nearly enough, im going to keep on using 2 litre minimum for 300 litre res.

slowly rise the PPM. 250<350<500<850<1200 this will give the plants time to adjust to the hightened nutrient levels. remember ensure the soil stays aerated for maximum nutrient absorption.

AN organic's can be expensive when you are using the full dose (NOT what the bottle says) PPM levels CAN go as high as 1600 during flowering, but it usualy burns plants.

Seedlings, Early Sprouts 100 to 250

Early Vegging 300 to 400

Full Vegetation 450 to 700

Early Blooming 750 to 950

Full Mature Blooms 1000 to 1600

1 vote against expensive bottled nutes here (Tried Age Old Organics, Biobizz, Blue Mountain Organics and General Organics) . IMHO you will get the better results mixing organic ferts into the soil ahead of time super soil style. It is a lot cheaper and easier because you can water with just blackstrap molasses (same as bud candy/biobizz biogrow etc). Then reamend and reuse the soil. Other than electricity it is like growing for free.

On the other hand some growers love to tinker and I can understand that too!

This is a grow using organic soil some of which has been cycled for over 2 years. Nothing expensive added mostly chicken manure and kelp meal less than $1 per pound.

I've used the Advanced Nutrients Organic line - the entire thing. It does work, but it costs $50 a bottle.

I'm gonna second the "it's about the soil" argument.





Organics is about microbiology, not plant nutrition/soil fertility.

The idea is that the plant exudes substances that tell the surrounding micro-organisms the appropriate nutrition to provide to the plants roots. The nutrition becomes available through the microbiology's lifecycle, primarily through carbon exchange in the presence of oxygen. This is an AEROBIC process. "Aerobic" refers to life that require oxygen to survive.

Rule #13 of the SoilFoodWeb, says that "application of salt based nutrition to an organic growing media will have detrimental effects on the existing microbiology." (Paraphrased)

So far there are two requirements: oxygen, no salts.

Nutrient companies claim that to be able to produce "organic bottled nutes" are cutting corners on one or both of these fronts. For oxygen to be present, the bottles of nutrients would have to be shaken once every 3hrs to prevent anaerobic activity. Anaerobic activity refers to life that does not require the presence of oxygen, this type of life is extremely detrimental to both a soil's microbiology and the plant itself. These type of organisms are the ones that make trash dumps smell like trash dumps.

The second way they cut a corner is by stabilizing the nutrition with an inorganic or synthetic chemical, a salt of some sort. We already know that this has negative effects on any microbiological system. Doubt it? You yourself are an aerobic organism. Instead of drinking water for a week, drink salt water for a week. Run this through the scientific method and post it on this site. Hypothesis, experiment, conclusion. My guess is three to five days before you take a visit to the hospital.

So what can we do?

Save money and buy dry nutes. Make AACT and build your soil. Read Teaming With Microbes, or Worms Eat My Garbage. There are plenty of sources of organic nutrition, many are available in your yard and the furthest are at Home Depot.

All of this being said, Iguana Juice and their other organic line will grow plants, so will miracle grow, general hydroponics, etc, etc.

thats really cool! those look real nice, i used to do something sort of similar with flower power, wormcast, compost, pyroclay and dolomite lime , and it worked great, i only fed 500 ppm 2 times in bloom and the rest plain water. im just curious about AN. i want to see if it makes my buds that much better. i know a lot of patients who are connoiseurs. and i want to see if this line will be worth the extra cost , if not i will be going back to my other organic recipe.( not the one where i just water twice in bloom , i have changed from that system now)

ok i figured out how to post pics, here they are the strain is called chrome and it is a type of kush. These are like 1 week into bloom. Im very happy with the way they look , but i need to figure out the dosage for iguana juice. At 3.5 ml per litre its only 300ppm!!!! I think thats way too low , especially once i get into week 4 and 5 ! IMG_1009.jpgthese are way too big for 300 ppm!

I currently have the line and I find them over priced. Yes I must admit it is a good product the plants compared to my soil are much bigger.

These clones were cut at the same time the first pic is the hydro the second is the dirt. So there is a definate difference in growth. However I am sure my plants in dirt are better at handeling stress and other issues and will taste better.

Here is my problem I read the bottle and I am sure I can accomplish the same thing with teas sooo much cheaper. Which will be an experiment in the future. For instance read Bud Candy it is magnesium aka Epson Salts or $64 for 10L vs $5 for much much more just add water and basically so is Overdrive. Then look at Big Bud it is mollases a gallon for $128 vs $3 for much much more.

Basically I feel I should have looked at what they were selling before I spent $400 in nutes. Although I wanted to try hydro and now that I have I can do it better myself just like my dirt.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Really? 11 different products to grow MJ? And I thought my EarthJuice lineup was ridiculously numbered at 6 different products. Iguana Grow and Bloom can be used by themselves to obtain great buds. Maybe a p/k booster but good god man, you're practicing overkill, I'd probably be doing the same if I could afford AN products.

Carljay the AN nutes ur using are awesome and if u wanna grow hydroponically which i totally recommend (i fn love hydro) u gotta use good nutes or it will clog all ur equipment and smell like an open sewer full of death

Advanced Nutrients is the ONLY stuff ill run in my hydroponics
i spent too many hours cleaning clogged pumps and sprayers and such to ever mess with any of the cheap crap again

Make sure to buy and use all of the overpriced bullshit as directed to help turn profits for AN.
