Advanced Nutrients Overdrive Question

So I recently started feeding Advanced Nutrients Overdrive to my plants anticipating an 8 week grow. I stopped with my Big Bud feeding and switched to overdrive here in the beginning of week 6, but it turns out one my plant is a 9-10 week cycle.

Can anyone see any harm in continuing to overdrive them to the end or should back it off and just go with my base nutrients to the end to prevent complications. The buds are really nice and getting supper far up top. I just kind of feel that this is like Botox. I don’t want to do too much and creat an alien looking thing.

AN sells a lot of snake oil. You don't need 7+ bottles to grow A+ Cannabis. It's better to read what the bottles actually contains instead of referring to stupid brand named products, it's all just marketing.

I think you will do yourself a favor by educating yourself about different nutrient ratios and what the plant actually needs. Everything's available online regarding plant nutrition. You just have to do the work.

The litterature and science behind optimally growing Cannabis differs a lot from what the market wants and what sells and creates optimal profit.

Quintana I'm pretty sure continuing with overdrive will be OK.

I use it along side my regular nutes right up to harvest, no flush.

I am feeding Bud Candy currently. I’ll feed that throughout. My plants smell super sweet.

Okay cool, I just want to overdose them like they’re on steroids. Ha I’m only running 50% of the recommended dosage across the board at this point. I did discontinued the Big Bud already.

I’ve educated myself well enough I suppose, but I’m still getting comfortable with the timing of everything. I’ve gone with GH Flora/AN Jungle Juice and a few supplements for ease of use when mixing.

From what I’ve read, quality can be greatly affected by timing. So pulling plants to dry/cure at the right time (60-70% red hairs and no amber trichomes) has more affect on flavor than letting them grow bigger and over ripening them for weight for sale. My goal is quality for sure.

I’m feeding a base NPK mix with Cal/Mag in a Coco drain to waste system. My humidity is pegged at 45%, temp at 78 degrees, with a mix of a 1,000watt HPS and Mars Hydeo TSW2000 LED light.

I’m in week 6 and they’re looking really healthy, I just don’t want to mess up in the home stretch and end up growing foxtails or overdoing it.

She's gorgeous.
I use OD, but I'm still new to using it, so I can't really give you answers.
I would stop using it when I think my plant is less than 3 weeks from chop tho.

Thanks! I’ll cut the OD out next week. Maybe just finish it off with base nutrients in the last weeks before harvest. I have 3 different strains too (Purple Monkey Balls, White Rhino, and Diesel). I’m hoping they’ll all finish close to each other so I can dry them in the same room.

That’s what I’m doing with my Blueberry420 auto. I have 1 more feeding with OD then just base nutes at 50% til chop. No flush or myth busting on this plant lol I may get stupid on a clone I have in a cup tho to compare for shits & giggles. Good luck with finishing up. Sounds like some stank dank you got there.

Thanks! Sounds like I’m not too far off on what I’m doing although I think I’m spotting some fox tailing now. (sh**!) It’s winter and my home heating system is running which is bringing up my basement temps. Hope I can close down the vents in the basement and bring the tens down and stop it.

good luck on yours too, I’m thinking about ordering some blue berry seeds this next run myself.

I agree that there are a lot of cheaper options out there. I have used a variety of them over the years with good results. But I use AN and have never been disapointed. When feeding for a longer flowering cycle, I always just repeat the week 6 flowering mixture, but I always flush with water for at least 2 weeks before harvest.
