Ok...!
I pulled 1.2gpw (238g + 18g small buds) under 200w of cxb3590! Organic amendments plus tap water of course!
Never had a taste like that before...even in Amsterdam...thanks to the batguano ewc and molasses I guess...so good!
Same incredible taste on cob and hps harvest!
You should try organic amendments!

Dudes. I have a p300 over 3 plants 2x2 scrogged. 17 days since flip. N things are looking amazing. I have 2 cfls on. The side. But even with out. The p300 PLATINUM LED would not leave many newer growers disappointed with their purchase. It FAR EXCEEDED my expectations

Not at all man. Jus first time tent grower getting amazing results w p LED. No lie. I'm a reg Joe who's too nervous of heat from hid.. Lol

IMG_20160816_223626300.jpg Damn man. Why are ppl so DIE HARD HID!! LED technology has improved 200% since 2 years ago. I dunno what dude up there is saying... Would HID be ideal? Yes. Would I maybe even prefer it? Prolly. But I'm making do w what I have. If u can grow decent nugs w CFLs n good ventilation.. At 180w actual draw, n 2 23w CFLs. I'm shooting for 180-200g. I have one HUGE 2 liter bottle sized 86 ACTUAL watt CFL I'm going to add in next week.. Lookin possible

So for that size tent is this led light a waste of time? and should i go to HPS?

While platinum has some great units. Especially the xm models w switchable spec. N a THIRD switch for straight white 5000k(?) Cree diodes interspersed- the 150 would cover a 1x1 spot. P300. 2x2. Slightly lower than advertised but get this, my growth like outside direct cover of LED is going STRONG! almost stronger! If hid is ur thing. Do it up!! I'm an LED guy. Or gods HID system ;)

If ur talking bout a platinum.. Your gonna love it.. Dude I fucked w too red UFOs. Shittyy panels, CFLs, even pulled 8g of dank off a late season window sill grow. Are there better unites then PlatinumLED. Yes! But the price. AND customer service is stellar.. I start seedlings under cfls, let me get indirect LED under CFL reflector shade. AND GRADUALLY introduce to DIRECT LED. Marc or whatever at PLed called me back in 20 min w that life saving info. When I first got it

Thanks for the reply, but not to sure what you mean by gpw in soil and needing a/c (i have a power socket in the loft if thats what you mean), i can dim the light to 600w, would i still need lots of fans? And whats a cob?

PlatinumLED is trash. There is no more efficiency in PLED units than HID. Actually, a DE HPS or CMH is more efficient than those POS units that PLED sells. No one is against LED. Have a look around and do some reading. This is the LED forum and many of us are here because we use them.

I was the same, I bought a PLED (P450) and thought it was awesome. Then came the yield (side by side vs HPS) and I quickly realized that the PLED is junk. Then I came here and read about the newish (at the time) COB technology. There is a reason people are utilizing COB fixtures over these garbage LED lamps. Why dont you tell me how many ACTUAL watts you are pushing to the LED and at what rating and efficiency level. Oh wait you cannot do that because PLED is a joke and will NOT provide you with that info.

Ok so we're both jus misinterpreting your Experience n my first BUSHY! Led tent.. Lol sorry dude. I'd love to have a flowering tent w like a spyder LED n a 600hps in 4x4. But right now ( and luckily so) I am not financier of this operation lol. Jus the pair of hands to get dirty. Believe I'm not close minded. The hope of something can throw ur rational thinking out of whack I guess. :) I KNOW one day I will be using a light LED-HID. NO MATTER. and I'll be like. Damn! Remember when I thought PlatinumLED was the shit??? I mean HPS has been the industry standard since ever for a reason. YET. As u know needing an LED enthusiast. The technology is improving almost by the minute!! N a very important footnote. Iv only got sunlight n CFL grows under my belt. Iv never seen ,personally, some big donkey dick HID grown kolas. So no comparison. HID is around for me to try when time is right. Personally. I jus want a spydr1200 :) but as for now. I was given a budget, which I used up very wisely.. Butttt my financier won't allow hid bulbs in house. I even tried to explain cool tubes!! Ughh. Lol I'm happy wy lil 2x2 forest for now. Happy cultivatin
Ps added a avtual 86w 3200k cfl for my last week's of bloom, instant perkiness

Lol. Dude. Cool. Smoke a bowl! Lol. This isnt a "who's got THE BEST LIGHT/BIGGEST DICK DEBATE! LOLOL dude I agreed many times HPS or HID would be MY preference. In do able atm.. So I'm take what I can get so far. It's not the worst light in creation. Lol. I'm WELL aware there's a plethora of better LEDs on market. As I said im jus the pair of hands in dirt ;)
