so how do i get them to stand up or at least know if they will make it
Honestly, it looks like you chopped them up quite a bit and left a lot of exposed stem for them to deal with. When I said that the cut isn't important, I mean on the node from which most of the roots will grow (when you get an aeroponic cloner you will see that roots develop all up and down the stalk, not just from the node you cut).

Unless you can get some new cuttings, then you'll just have too see what happens.

A t5 should be fine, it can be 2-3 feet away from the humidome. 'does it matter if I didn't cut after the 3rd node?' is not something I can answer because there is a gap between what each of us know

In the time that I have been writing though, you have posted three new things, so I am off of this thread. Slow down man. You need patience to grow. Don't do anything drastic to them. Keep the cubes moist. Spray them lightly with clean, ph'd water. Sorry if I didn't get at your questions. My advice is opinion, but you can look at some pictures of the grow that I have going by looking at some of my posts.

Could be too much light, they dont need much light, they are sensitive. I always give my cuttings some N to boost em along, works great

My 32 site clone machine pays my electric bill 10 months out of the year. Wasted way too much time, energy and money on cubes and shit. I completely concur with hermex. It really is a no brainer. If you aren't gonna do it right, don't do it at all.

Hermex, do you use any other product with the cloner? I don't use anything but the crappy tap water that comes out my tap. It really does amaze me every time. Like I'm fucking Jesus, just over here creating life, deciding whom lives and whom dies. Just call me trinity.

I do how ever change my water every other day.

I have found that T-5 works the best. I mix my bulbs to cover the most spectrum. I attribute my cloning success to that light. I saw improvement with this light when I was using cubes. So when I got the cloner, shit really came together.

You can screw around with medium, methods, gels, cubes, rock wool, and after a lot of experience get somewhat close to what aero cloners can do in a few days. I cloned for outdoor for years using various methods, over time I got pretty good at it but maybe 80-90%. When I went indoor last year I built an aero-cloner for like $50 or something including pump. There is no comparison, and there is no better way to get successful clones than aero, 90-100% success rate in a few days. Not trying to get you to spend money, but if you can build one for $50, what will you spend in time and wasted clones/energy. Easiest fixture I've built for indoor and instant success. Listen to the aero folks like BobBitchen, particularly the one's who have tried many other methods before going aero... tap water, cut, scrape lightly, put into aero cloner, wait 4-7 days, nothing simpler imo.

No offense aeroponic peoples..I know that aeroponics cloner is the bee's knee's, but Piff needs to master the clone box and what hes working with....its great learning experience. The cuttings look like poo, but this is what he cut and needs help with. All great advice tho, but its not helping him now atm

IMO its genetics and ppl make it out to be harder than it is I got a basic rooting powder from home and garden store and some Jiffy pellets then just followed what I seen on youtube and just mist them daily I have a cheese quake strain that roots every time in about a week and I also have a cluster bomb strain that iv tried every method and not one time have they rooted. Some times they look like dead plants but give them time and they will surprise u 85% of the time smallest clones in the pic are a week and a half since cut from mom. Oldest one in pic is 3 weeks
