Advice For Out of Touch Old Skoller!

It's been 30+ since I did my last grow, and I've now got some plants just coming into flower on a new grow and I'm looking for advice on how to process my stash. We hung it and smoked it in the old days...

Can someone point me to threads that give me an idea of alternative ways of deal with my haul!

it really depends on what you are wanting to achieve, your ability level when it comes to various extraction techniques, how much material you have to work with. lots of different ways to go do a basic search on how to make BHO, QWET, QWISO, Rosin, Bubble Hash, Dry Sift, Dry Ice Hash, ummm I cant think of any more oh RSO and Co2

I'm looking at a crop of between 6 - 10oz - 4 Critical Mass clones grown in a 60x60 scrog - picture attached is from the clone supplier.

I'm a life long UK smoker so generally some with tobacco - I'm hooked that drug so something to go in spliffs please.

I'm looking for getting something that increases potency/weight ratio really - more bang from your bud!

Unfortunately I'm unemployed due to physical/mental disabilities so any solution would have to be at the lower end of the price point to setup.

well to be honest if you have zero extracting equipment(some methods require more $ then others) I would tell you to look up rosin. that is the process of taking your bud and trim in small amounts placing it in a tea bag/screens and parchment paper and pressing with a hair straightener/flat iron to extract


others require variously flammable methods
Butane Hash Oil, BHO is not recommended with out a lot of reading and understanding of the gas being used as this process can kill you or worse if not extremely careful
Qwiso and Qwet which stands for Quick wash isopropyl and Quick wash ethanol are both the same process using either Isopropyl alcohol for Qwiso or everclear/other high proof 190 type sprit/alcohol for Qwet. as with butane both of these can give you a really bad day without proper handling.

Bubble hash and dry ice hash use bags(dry ice hash uses 1 bag bubble uses 3-8 bags) of various micron size material and ice and water to make the hash in the case of bubble hash and just ice in the case of dry ice hash.

dry sift is a process of lightly passing your buds and trim over a set of screens to collect the trichome heads

Co2 is a very expensive extraction process to get into and not the greatest option for home extractors but it is the process of extracting the hash using co2(Carbon Dioxide) under high pressure 800psi all the way up to 5000psi or if you prefer 55.158 bar to 344.737 bar

Rso is Rick Simpson Oil and not really what you are looking for and I don't know anything about it really.

If you are looking to mix it with tobacco you could try Water Curing. It will remove the smell and taste and you will lose some weight but you won't lose much thc in the process. Jar some buds and pour enough water in to completely cover them. If they float push them down somehow. Change the water daily using a strainer for about 7 days. After the last day you will need to quick dry the buds with a fan. It will be more potent and very stealthy bud when you are finished but will taste like smoking paper lol
