Advice needed for first grow room set-up.

This is my first post, so excuse me if I have poor forum etiquette.

I'm planning on turning my mini-fridge into a small grow box; the dimensions are roughly 2'x2'x3'. I'm planning to grow five feminized lowryder plants because of the small space available and quick time for maturity.

Would an installment of a 150 watt HPS bulb and a 150 mh bulb be sufficient light for my grow area?

Will these bulbs fit into the same bulb sockets as household lights?

Thanks in advanced.

With HID lights (MH, HPS) usually you will need a seperate ballast/"Socket"... as for 5 lowryders im not sure they will all fit... for your case if you have a confined space try a stealth grow with CFLs with high lumen outputs... but if you can fit an 150 watt hps, I definitely would...

Thanks. +Rep to everyone.

How about a 100 watt HPS and 100 wat mh?

Will these still torch my plants without proper ventilation?

What if I had fans?

without proper ventilation there is no reason to grow at all with a space that small. Your plants will be starved for fresh air and with almost any kind of lightbulb, it will eventually get too hot

not with CFL lights... but MH and HPS lights are hot just have fans blowing the air around/out
