First time grower, following seemorebuds books "buds for less", but have not changed light as book says to do @ 16 days old. On day 27 for the lovely's.... bag seeds, water appx every 3rd or 4th day based on dryness of media 2 inch down, fan blowing lots of light and mylar works great. Looking good! starting to smell....
question one (yes I've searched) When cloning, why could I not cut stem only at the stalk (see photo "clone copy") and dip in rooting powder and place in media and get rooting? All info I read says you need to cut in area with two nodes for cloning & rooting.
Q 2: (See pic "dual") Anyone have this happen before? What would you do? Leave it alone and grow a tree or what? I was reading to place seeds in distilled water to see if they float or sink, these floated and tossed them into media not expecting them to germ.
Q3: In the 101 already asked questions thread, there is a link to a DIY filter: https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/7074-easy-build-diy-carbon-filter.html My question is, with this type of set up is the fan sucking the air through the carbon filter or is it sucking air onto the open end of the vent? Seems to me, I'll be venting to the outside, that you would want to suck the air through the filter and into the exhaust to vent and not an open end of the tube.
Thanks
