Advice on Flowering

I'm not sure if my plant is on the small side or not, this is my first grow and i'm almost positive that I've been doing some things wrong, but you live and you learn. It's in beginning of week 7, according to the breeding site I bought it from, the Berry Ryder is supposed to be a short plant, which over the past couple of days she's grown many inches due to overwatering on my part. Also a pretty bad case of fungal gnats, but they're slowly decreasing. I use foxfarm's Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. I just need serious advice on how much to water, to add nutes, light cycle, and flushing? They're maybe 6 or seven inches. I was watering them everyday because someone on another forum told me that was best for autoflowers, but now I've been watering every 3 or 4 days (someone on this forum recommended that I water until it comes out of the bottom then wait until it's dry and repeat) so I've been doing that for the past week and the plant seems to be doing well, it's grown at least four or five inches in the last couple of days.

there growing because the pot is starting to dry up
overwatering slows growth
your lights need to be a lil closer
honestly a plant that size in 5 gallons of soil really wont need to many nutes
if you let it dry up a bit between waterings
or just do shallow waterings of 1 cup or so until the pot dries up some

the problem is the top is drying but the bottom is still soaked
so the roots are trying to stay in the top part of the bucket so they dont drown in the soaked part

some if not most of it is far from the truth
auto's like really porous soil with high drainage
in 5 gals of soil i would never soak a pot all the way down unless the plant was a few feet tall
it just takes to long to dry out

Thank you for being so helpful! How much water would you suggest and how often?

pick the pot up if it feels super heavy then its still wet
if the top few inches are dry but the pot still feels soaked/water logged then just give it a small drink 1/2 cup or so just around the stem
the pot will start to feel lighter
the plant will take off when its right
a drier medium will allow oxygen to the roots

I personally always go for 18 hours of light and 6 hours of uninterrupted dark and water when the top soil is dry so every 2 or three days.

Sorry to be the one to tell you but she's on the petite side and because of that I wouldn't expect too much bud. But like orangehaze said any smoke on a first grow is good smoke. So this doesn't happen again I would suggest more light,(leumens) and 24/7. Works for me.

yeah I figured she was small, but as long as I get something off of it, it was a good learning experience. I will definitely have more lights and probably use 24/7 next time!

If you are on a budget like me, you might consider hitting up home depot and grabbing a warm white 9.5 watt (2700K) CREE LED flood light. They are like 20 bucks. I know you can get a bigger CFL for that, but big CFLs like to die in the middle of grows lol. One of those floods would help your flowering a lot. They are very bright and cooler than CFLs, and pretty good amount of light being a flood. You can push it right up on top of the plant pretty much.

9.5 watts is a lot for LED. That or a $15 4-pack of 26w 2700k CFLs would help as well, but that's more fixtures.

If you want to yield more. Honestly you've fucked up drastically. I would pot her in ground and let nature take it's course from there. She always gets a better yield than me.

haha this is my first grow, I wasn't even expecting it to yield any, honestly. I'm just happy it's came as far as it has, even if I barely get any bud, I learned a loooot lmao
