Wow i did not know that im not surprised tho i live in a large city. When I get my pay check im gonna invest in a couple cases of bottled water just to take that out of the equation. As for my my ph kit i have a liquid ph kit that includes a liquid dropper tester and ph up and down it comes out red which indicates low ph i basically just add a little ph up until it tests the shade of green for 6.5 just so i know if its up or down a little it will be fine (i also add my nutes before i test ph). And yeah im obsessed with growing weed ive done countless hours of research im gonna be a pro once i get the experience lol.Your tapwater has a ph of 5 really ? Beer has a ph of 5 too sure your using the right tap ? lol
Makes me think your ph meter is not working correctly.
According to the EPA, a pH of 5-6 or lower has been found to be directly toxic to fish
More reason to get RO water or even bottled water for the babies. Older plants will handle it better.
Same for ph up also one mistake and they fry.
They will probably be just fine, sounds like you are on top of the situation.
