very true even when taking clones I use the dome for max 4 days that's if their not doing good

A product I like for taking clones in low humidity is called Vitagrow Antiwilt. Dip the cuts in that and it will close up the stomata and the plant can't wilt. Works like a charm.

I’ve been using a spray bottle as well and I’m standing back to make it a nice mist, then watering a bit around the base, but my worry with spray bottle is that there could be a negative reaction with the water on plant reacting to the lights? Like a burn effect? I thought I read that somewhere.

I don't spray the plants, just the soil. I try to keep the plants dry.
I've tried Antiwilt before, the Christmas tree version... Lets just say the xmas version should only be used on the Pine trees. LOL

lol this is the stuff I use, been using it for around 15 years with excellent results. I take big fat 6 inch cuttings and leave most of the leaves and all of the nodes, often monster cropping them too. The anti wilt allows me to do that and I get a better head start on my plant size. I use tops but I avoid ones that have hollow stems. Sometimes I will top a vegging plant and wait 3 - 5 days and then clone it so I get the double branches to start. Anything I can do with a given strain. Some strains won't monster crop.

Day 5. How they looking? Got one backup germinating from the one that died. Also was going to ask about humidity/air intake + exhaust.
What is the ideal humidity level at this stage. I usually keep the window closed and the humidity stays between 40-45. In the morning when I smoke I first use exhaust to blow the smoke out, and then leave on intake for a while. Right now humidity is up to 69. Going to take out exhaust fan in 20 mins and it will slowly go back down to 44.
