Advice on which Carbon filter to buy

Hi guys I just got a great deal on a inline fan http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390750503151 My question is what carbon filter should I get for this fan (Size and Brand)? I am going to be using a fan speed control to dial down the fan a bit for noise. How much will it reduce the CFM? Can I get away wit a 326 CFM rated filter for this 400 CFM rated fan like the Mountain Air 620? Thanks

pretty sure you get a bigger filter than the fan if anything. otherwise the air will blow through too quick to get the filtration that company suggests. slowing the air will increase the contact time with the carbon.. if the speed controller can dial it down to 75% or 50% you could probably use the filter

build your own custom scrubber. I built mine for about 125.00 start to finish and is a monster. 180oz of premium activated charcoal, and is almost 3.5'l x 15"w (2" of charcoal) and matted to an 750cfm fan. absolutely NO smell in my grow area.

3.5 feet WOW sounds like a beast lol I only need one big enough for a 4x2x7 Tent with a 400 CFM fan. How did you build it any pics or instructions? I have been thinking of making one.

for my application I use 150-160 oz of the charcoal.

heres the link to what I buy

make sure you thoroughly wash the pellets before using. I put mine in some panty hose (doubled the legs) and rinsed for a bit until all the black water is gone. then let air dry (still in pantyhose) in my veg tent for a day or two.
Since I am in Canada I need to buy off amzon.ca for free shipping which of these would you say I should get? Also they don't say if they are granules or pellets how can I tell?
