my set up is in a little closet i have coated the walls and doors in tin foil and have got 2 fluoro tubes and 1 compact low wat fluoro with a small fan for strong stem and ventalation b'coz its a little grow room and im only growing 1 plant will this grow my little baby from veg stage to flower with a nice bit of bud???

im looking to achive about on oz but is that poss with my set up

First Off, Don't Use Tinfoil Unless You Desperately Need To. White Paint, White Poly Plastic, Or Mylar Reflect Alot More Light, And Don't Give Hot Spots Like Tinfoil. Next, What Size Is The Closet? (Length?xWidth?xHeight?) You Will Want To Start 2-3 Plants To Make Sure You Get A Female Because Most Chances Your First And Only Plant Won't Be Female. What Wattage And Type Of Floro's Are They? With That Info I Can Give You Some Good Advice.

well atm i have no choice but to use foil the watted is about 25-35max its 2ft long 1 ft deep and bout 4.5 5ft tall and thanks for the info

Are They Compact Floros Or Tubes? You Have Enough Space For Two Good Sized Plants To Vegetate, Then When They Are 2 Feet Tall, Switch To 12/12 And Hopefully You'll Have A Female. Then You Can Kill The Male, And Start Using Training Techniques Such As Low Stress Training And Topping To Help Her Bush Out If You Want To Switch To 18/6 Again To Get Her Bigger, And Produce More (I Would Suggest Doing So). Make Sure You Have Atleast 2 Feet Left When You Switch Back To Flowering The Female So It Has Room To Bloom. I Could Give You Better Info On Lighting If I Knew What Type Of Lights You Were Using Exactly? (Type?Wattage?Spectrum?) Lastly, Make Sure You Have A Thermometer By The Tops Of Your Plants...Keep The Temps Around 70-80F. Any Other Questions Ask Away Or PM Me.

two of the fluoros are tubes and 1 is compact but low watt im not sure the spectrum and the max wat is bout 30-35 but i am looking to invest in another more powerful fluoro bcoz atm i havnt got the time and money for hid or mh etc

For That Space You Would Want To Stick To Floro's Unless You Were Looking To Invest A Few Hundred Bucks On Coolable Reflectors, HID's, etc...You Can Try To Find T5 Fluorescents, Or Use The Spiral Compact Floro's...For Vegetating You Want The Daylight 6000K Lights And For Flowering You Want The Warm White 3000K Lights. You Want About 2000 Lumens Per Square Foot So You're Looking To Find Enough Lights To Put Out 4000 Lumens...Look Around Wherever You Can Find Tube And Spiral Fluorescents And Look At The Lumen Output...Make Sure It'll Fit And You Should Be Good To Go.

ok well i got 1 t5 fluoro tube and a standard fluoro both 1 foot long and a compact fluoro but will this get me from veg to flower and bud and thanks for the help so far m8

Dont use foil! Go buy those emergency blankets instead, they are very cheap and alot better than tin foil

Or You Can Usually Buy Big Sheets Of Thick White Paper..Bristol Board?..Either Will Reflect Most Of The Light But Tin Foil Creates More Heat Than Anything...rhunter1984...I Put My Seedlings Under Fluorescents As Soon As I Plant, But You Can Wait Until They Break The Soils Surface...
