ive been growing them for about a couple weeks know, they went through a little of root bound but i transplanted them into bigger containers and they all looking back to healthy now. they are about 5 inches high and 5-6 inches wide(tip of fan leave to other tip) and i know they are still a little young but i want to know when should i be thinking about switching to flowering. another week or two?

all on ze grower slick, plants will double or triple in size when put into flowering, if space is an issue then flowering as soon as possible is what you want, if you want a 6 foot tree with a few pounds of bud veg for 3 more months

You can flower them from day 1 if you like. When you flower is entirely up to you, in terms of your grow size, the number of plants you have, how you want them to grow etc.

There is no right time for flowering, it's when it's the right time for you.

say if i want 2-3 oz from each when would be a good time to start flowering, i think i have adequate space for that. should i wait a few more weeks or am i at the appropriate size to yield that much

If you are going purely after yield then veg for as long as you reasonably can. i.e. another 6 week and you will have trees!

2-3 ounces per plant depends on your lighting. But you can easily get that kind of yield under a 400w hps with just a months veg.

If you are just using cfls, then you do not necessarily want to grow trees due to light penetration and such. Consider something like LST or SCROG.

You have a lot of very good advice from the previous responders. Read them again. Then Google LST (low stress training). Good advice for large plants. Peace & be kind

Cant tell yet man, its early! You'll be able to see more after a couple of weeks in flower then you can see how they are stacking.

Generally, if I do 6 weeks veg and 8 flowers, strain dependant I come away with at least 2 per plant. I'm using 2 x 600hps though
