advise on my future set up

Im gonna be starting my first grow soon and i was hoping to get some feed back on my idea for a set up.
this would be in a closet about 6x3, i would have 4-8(what do you think?) homemade 5 gallon bucket bubbleponic systems under a 1000w mh/hps light.i would like to have plants around 2'(should they be bigger/smaller?) i would be able to rid up some basic ventilation and defiantly have a few fans in there. Im gonna get my hands on some white widow and ak-47 clones.

iv been doing my research on growing but i need feedback and mainly tips on what i should/should not do.

OK heres what im working with, 3ftx21/2ftx5ft. tent wrapped in mylar. I have 4 plants in there now that I'm about to put into flowering. I'll tell you now theres no reason for a 5 gallon bucket...go get you some netted pots OR swimming pool skimmer baskets (just make sure they are about 3-4 inches in diameter as only the stalk will need to fit in it) and use a medium like hydroton. Make sure you have plenty of airstones to feed oxygen to your rootsystems.
Also remember that light is not suppose to get into your resevoir as this will cause algae. You could probably put about 10-12 in that measurement you gave depending on the height of your room 2ft. is a good distance but if I were to guess you'd have to start flowering a little earlier if u have heigh restrictions. As for your lighting thats kind of overkill for a small set up like this, your going to have to really back that light up off the plants or they'll burn (maybe look into a 600 or even a 400w before that 1000w)
Make sure and get some nutes as you might already know that hydro media holds no nutes but just giving a heads up. Also in that small of an area if you dont have the right ventilation those lights are going to produce some serious heat(Look into CFL's my friend)
