Aero/NFT, and soil, my first full grow.

First plan, start out growing with Autoflowers to "see" if I liked growing. Before they even went down into dirt, I built an Aero/NFT fence post system thanks to StinkBud and his book. We've been growing since MMJ became legal in our state, so I had people to gather my information from and dive in, or so I thought.

I ordered a few Autoflower seeds, Dutch Passion Blueberry, and Nirvana Northern Lights. They came with free seeds, Critical Sensi Star, and Northern Lights Blue Auto. I wanted to plant them all right away, and dive in! I had to painfully wait, while another crop was finishing, and.... well we all know shit happens and more delays always come. This was back in August no less.

December gets here, plants harvested, things situated around, finally!!! 5 seeds went down 12-16, 2 days later they had sprouted! We moved them to the edge of our tent and let them be for a few days. Transplanted into their final pots, and shoved under our 600w hps in a 4x4 tent.

More things happened, and our other plants needed some extra love. They spent some extra time in veg, and are FREAKING huge for our space, we've not let them get this big in a very long time. So we are already pushing our limits on space and light already, but had 6 more clones with roots! Oh shit... Well those clones were meant for my SB Aero/NFT system anyhow, but didn't plan on still having a bunch of girls still.

Yesterday the clones went into the SB system, PPM was set low at 625, and PH at 5.8. I know my GDP's are eaters, but i don't want to burn them, so I'll bring the res up slowly. I do plan on making these plants have 4 Cola's each too.

NUTES
I only use Botanicare, right now I use Pro Gro, cal mag, liquid karma, and sweet. I use Canazyme to keep anything from growing in the res, and so far with my cloner it works great!
The mix is 540ML of Pbg, 126 CAL MAG, 180 LK for veg, flower is about the same with some raw sweet added in.

MEDIUM
this hydro system does not use a medium, just the net pot and collars to support the plants. Once they grow taller they can be tied to the sides of the system for support.

My other plants however are in Coco, mixed with perilite. Been making changes to the soil grow for a bit now to smooth things out and increase quality and yield.

This is my first grow, so I'm curious as to what everyone thinks. I'll try and keep this updated with new pics too!

The last pic is of my Dutch passion blueberry planted on 12-16 I'm amazed at how well that auto is doing.

Day 21 pictures of the GDP clones, they are growing fast!

Day before week 2 of veg, I've now got their food over 1400ppm and they crave more. I did dim the light down some on the ballast, they showed signs of sunburn and I'm almost out of headroom for the light. Ran into a small calmag issue, fixed by raising the ph up a little for a day.

The Auto's have started flower, or at least the BB has, NL soon to follow I'm sure. We have started giving them 4 hours of rest now, instead of 24/7.

We are nearing week 3 of flower for our other group, but the tent is at the end of week 1 almost. I've done NO training or topping this time around, just annoyed they did not have the structure I wanted from how they were cut before.

Picked up some Hydroplex to help out with bloom, week 3 I'll start it at 2ml a gal.

It's been a big learning curve so far, with Hydro and coco. I've made plans to build a 4 site DWC bubble bucket setup, and will be using that in an attempt to scrog a 5x5 tent with 4 400w LED lights.

My new Apollo 400W LED is here! I've got it vegging some of our little plants we just transplanted. Replaced a 8 bulb 4ft t5 with this light, I may flower with it just to see what happens. It is a full spectrum light, and damn it's bright!

With the help of the woman, we hung up the net to support our girls when the get a little bigger. We thought about doing another net lower, but felt it was kinda to late. We will have it up for the next round though.

Plan is to grow the THC Bomb big enough to take 4-6 clones for another hydro run, I may keep it as a mother for a while under the LED. I want to build a 4 site DWC setup next, and put it in a 5x5 tent with a hydro hut x5 600 watt LED.

Day 20 of flower for my 6 girls in Hydro. They are budding up already, they grew like monsters! Taking over 2600PPM and not showing any burn, I changed their mix of food today, dialed back the Cal mag and Liquid Karma, added some Hydroplex. I put more water in the res this time, closer to 20 gal, they drank quite a lot over the first 3 weeks. Now that they have fresh food and water I started lower on the ppm, 2350 area as to not burn them, and it may have been a bit much even.

Day 28 of flower for the GDP in hydro. 2600 PPM and I am keeping the ph between 5.8-5.9. I did burn them a tiny bit when I did a res change, Might have been a bit much on the Hydoplex.

A close up of the NL blue auto, it got moved under the led 24/7 to finish up. We cut the blueberry auto down yesterday, pics later today. Only one shot of the girls in hydro from a few days ago, and they were not even day 40 yet.

the GPD is over 3200 ppm, i may back it down some but they look amazing. Just the tiniest bit of burn on the tips from before, but meh.
