Hey guys, first time grower here. I found my mom's old aerogarden 3 in the garage and decided to give it a go. I added a second air pump and using GH Flora series for nutes. I know the plants will be small and not a huge yield, but that works for me because i need to keep it low key. Anyways, I have two seedlings that sprouted 2 days ago and are looking pretty good. The one on the left is Star killer and the one on the right is just random bag seed. Is there anyway in hydroponics to cover them more up closer to the cotlyedons? I know that helps but just wasn't sure if possible in this set up. I'm open to all suggestions and tips

Are you asking about possible ways of burying the stem more so that they're not so spindly? If so, I wouldn't bother. Get a shop/clamp light with a decent cool white 6500k CFL bulb. Clamp it onto the neck of the AG and get it as close to the seedlings as you can without burning them. Use your hand as a guide. If it's too hot for your hand then it's too hot for the seedling. To prevent algae from building up in your AG, cover up the vacant hole with a piece of tape or something. Golf balls work real well as a cover. Good luck!
Yes that's what I was asking. Okay, if they start to lean would you add something for support? Yeah I have two additional lights coming in from the sides. The top light only extends to like 14 inches lol so I'll eventually remove it to add a third lamp. Should I add a fan yet or let them establish themselves a little more?

You could use some tin foil to cover the holes and just have the stem stick out. I would wait a few weeks to bother with a fan. You can take your finger and gently touch them if you want to simulate some wind shaking them.
Okay cool. Yeah, i figured it may be a little early on for the fan. I was wondering about that. Just on those two holes or should I cover the whole base? Thanks for the input

You can cover the opening of each plant pod to replace the paper that's come off. That might help prevent algae on the surface of the seed pod (thing that the seed is growing in. I forget what AG refers to them as) ..I'd just cover any hole that allows you to see into the reservoir.

Get a small amount of hydroton (clay balls) drop them in around the stem and build up a little pyramid to support them.
Marbles, grow stones or anything similar would work.
