I've been curious about these new AG deluxe models. How are the controls compared with the old model? Is the pump setup any different?

Beaters... I am unfamiliar with the older model. A question: At what point do the plants start to stink. I think I may buy one of those carbon scrubbers.

towards the end of the flowering cycle like 4 to 8weeks ballpark depends on strand tho but that is pretty close. The old one only had one foot light two bulbs and no supergrow feature as well as no indicator for bulb replacement
the pump I really dont think they would have changed cause it would be on their pump replacement page.
If it aint broke dont fix it theory of marketing.

My room is already starting to stink and i've only been vegging for 3 weeks. If you stand outside the room you can barely smell anything, but on the inside it kind of smells like an empty bag of weed. Of course when i flower, i'm sure i'll need a scrubber to mask the smell since it will get very aromatic during that period.

dude check this out i built something ver similar using the same carbon scrubber, it obviously aint as good as an expensive one but i never had a odor issue until week 4 of flowering and its still not as bad as if i didnt have one.

I think this with an exhaust fan and/or scrubber may do the trick. I'll post pics when I complete the setup.

So now My roommate sees my big mothers and freaks out saying I gotta get rid of em cause our nosey F in landlord can pop in to my room anytime without 24 hour notice and get mad Im like fuck him and crap.
I have come so far , six months in the planning and now just to kill em. that is shitty what should I do . was thinking about locking em up in a cabinet or something but I dunno
what do you guys think..

I have the SM HOMEBOX and i just set it up today. I have a 6" duct fan and a carbon filter hooked up to it. I have two AG pro200's that i am using for vegging and cloning. I have a 2'x2'x7" ebb and flood tray that fitts perfecly that i am going to use for flowering. I am going to pick up a 400w hps this week that i will use for flowering. I should get a good harvest this way.

I will be following your footsteps in a few weeks. Keep us posted and post some pictures.

Does anyone know how an air ionizer (Ionic Breeze) will effect a grow ?

A stab in the dark with my new Aerogarden Deluxe (Larger Lights and Extension).

I have been wanting to grow for years. After glancing at an Aerogarden Add I decided it was time. So I purchased a few different seed sets from 3 online shops thinking that at least one would end up being seized by customs. I received all 3. The first seeds were Californian Orange from Dutch Passions which I purchased through Magic Bus (Legal Highs - Magic Bus Magic Bus). I popped seven of them in the pods and placed the domes over them. They all sprouted..... But one just couldn’t seem to get rid of the seed shell. I started nutes by dropping 2 of the small tablets that came with the AG. Shortly after I read that the AG nutes were junk....so I replaced the res with tap water only. Seven days later I have 6 healthy sprouts and the Fox Farm is in the mail. I don’t plan on using the nutes for another seven days. My current setup is in a closet covered with mylar. I have used a large candle warmer to regulate the air temp and I cannibalized a 6 inch CPU fan from my brothers computer to circulate the air. I must say that this has got to be one of the most rewarding hobbies out there. I am constantly reading all applicable posts and getting pretty obsessed with the project. So my plan for now is to get a Homebox (buy-the-homebox.com - universal indoor grow box kit), a six inch inline exhaust fan with scrubber and a decent HID lighting system. I will continue to update and post pics.

Don't even bother they are a waist of $500. I have one and the don't work very well. I thought that i would kill the smell after i smoked but they don't. The problem is that they do not move enough air. You are better off using a charcoal filter and a duct fan. And for back up you can get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid and cut a hole in the middle and mount a computer fan on it. Drill holes in the side of the bucket and put soil moist crystals and a cup of ONA in it.

I need help!!! I am trying to purchase fox farm fertilizer and there are so so many choices. Which fertilizer(s) do I need in order to get my plants to grow the best? Thanks!

Are you looking for a soil or hydro fertilizer? Make sure you get the appropriate one for how you are growing. You can use the "Grow Big" for veg and the "Big Bloom" for flower. Or also "Tigerbloom," but make sure you get the right one in terms of soil fertilizer or hydroponic fertilizer. If you're using the AG, obviously you want the hydro.

Thanx and it is a hydro fertilizer that I am looking for...I wasn't sure if I needed tri pack of fertilizers or if there was a one size fits all fertilizer??? I'm just trying to grow it the most efficient inexpensive way!!! Any advice?

The one on the left looks like nute burn (Assuming you used nutes). Mine did that too at first, but they get used to it. A lot of ppl are saying to let them grow a few weeks before adding ANY nutes. But even if you did already, they should get over it.
