Finnaly its my time to talk! I have been reading this whole post for the last 3 days almost straight! There is so much information! I didnt know the first thing about a plant 3 days ago and now by reading everyones mistakes and there ideas I feel like I have a great grasp of the steps to take! One questions for you pros I have the foxfarm nutes and the airstone and im gonna buy the strongest cfl light at wal mart for side Lighting,but I couldnt get ahold of any dank seeds so I just used some mid grade reggies seeds! Do you guys still think my plants will be ok with the possibly low quality seed? PurpDaddy and tech I wanna thank you guys alot for all your help! Im so excited to get this going. Also I live in an apartment do you think the smell durring flowering will be able to be smelled by my neibors ?

you can buy compact deoderizers that take away the smell. im ol fashion an love that smell tho.but i also live in a house. dr.cronic is a awesome place t get seeds

and i saw u talkin bout CFL. dont be cheap on the lights. CFL is whack compared to HID i got my 400 watt hps wit bulb an reflector from HTG on E bay GREAT PLACE FOR SUPPLYS.and heres another link for a cheap HID light.20$ 150watt hps GOOD DEAL.

Thanks alot Happyface that info was great. One question bout the Light that you were talking bout though... So you reccomend an High Intesity discharge light better then an CFL? My seeds just sprouted so i wont need the lights for another week probably.. I just want to make the right choice about the extra lights but I dont wanna spend more then like 75 bucks on added lights right now.. Could you guys give me some like exact suggestions on models of lights that you think will fit what im trying to do? How smelly do those plants really get durring flowering ? thanks for your help I will be checking this post quite often

HID are great.
When given the choice of only one light, most marijuana growers will choose hid grow light over cfl because hid lights are more efficient (larger harvest). heres A good deals on E-bay

plants get smelly.really depends on the grower how smelly it can get.mine was never to bad.never even considered a deoderizer

and that link i left 150 watt hps for 20$ is awesome deal.havent done it yet but i will in the future wen i geta a room for a mother.but you can get 2 for 40 $ thats 300 watts for 40$.but i would go with the ebay.because it comes wit a bulb an good reflector.

Another question from seed I have read to veg anywhere from 2 weeks to like 5 weeks before flowering my plant and from what I gather it is somewhat personal prefrence. I dont want my plants getting taller then 3 feet or so , so does that mean I should start flowering earlier ? Also as far as trimming the plant to make it grow short and bushy what should I do?

ok.yes youll want to flower a lil earlier cause they can triple in size and thats not good if you dont have the space.
A procedure of we call "topping".ill give you the advice and you look it up read and study it and ill answere any question i can!
Hint: Go on youtube.com and search for anything marijuana growing related such as topping and vegging.Tons and tons of useful info on that site!I still go on it from time to time!You gotta read read read.
Get a grow bible(a new one) 1and read from cover to cover multiple times!Thats the only way itll sink in

Yah dude I read this whole blog and xxxDogtagsxxx It took me probably 30 full hours of reading lol I have a good plan I think Here is what I have going on.
1. Foxfarm Nutes, I have a Ph kit to test it which Im gonna need because my water tested at like 9ph , also have airpump and airstone
2. I live in an apartment so it is in my closet, which does have enough room to let them get to like 5 feet or so but I wanted to keep it small so it dosnt smell to bad durring flowering does that logice make sense?
3.Lighting- I saw a 150 watt "hps" light that looked like the same size as the aero and came with everything i would need for 89.99 Do you think this is a good deal and a good enough light? Im also gonna buy some 8 dollar cfs lights to attach to the sides, and im gonna get Mylar as well
4.I was also thinking bout using the old aero light and an air pump in tuberware to start a clone mother plant so I dont have to wait as long for the next crop...
5.Also one thing I did was I used just regular bag seed do you think that it will still yeild some decent buds ?

Does this all look good to you guys ? sound like a good plan anything im missing?

it all looks and sounds pretty good.you need a digital ph pen and a EC,TDS,PPM meter, to have thier exact formula of nuts perfect for your plants growth.
Ive heard good things about FoxFarms...but i would have got the General Hydro line..fucking awesome. The lighting is good enough for a small yield.
Yea dogtagz is my nigga for real i dont know the cat "personally" but we just clicked!(he got female probs and schoolin going on now so thats why he aint on as much)IDK! thats just my nig!

the sooner u flower the shorter it will be. the sooner u flower the quicker the life cycle so yea. if you want under 3 feet id say u can prolly veg a month then flower.but you can flower whenever you choose.TRIMMIMGS mixed answers on this question. some say that fan leaves are the workhorse of your plant.and some say its alrite.i trim an had NO problams.my current grow im planning not to. to see if its any better

its true GH NUTES are the shit.
N.A.S.A uses GH(general hydroponics) on their studies for it reliability an superior results..........thats what sold me.
some say organic nutes make tastier bud. but i ear its alot more UNSTABLE GH all the way

Thanks guys and Purpdaddy I went on you tube and watched like 5 hours of video of that guy named Jason who has like tons of different videos having to do with topping training and harvesting and curring ! Tons of great info. Im just having a really hard time deciding which light to go with still. I have decided to at least get one hid light and Im thinking about buying this halide light at my local hydro shop that is 150w for 89.99 but Im having a hard time with this decision. Did you guys do any topping to your plants in the aerogarden? I have read that it can stress certain strains and since im using just reggie seeds Im thinking bout just letting it grow. Have anyone of you used just regular weed seeds? Im hoping it will still work good! I have ordered some widow seeds but they wont be here for a long time!
