What it do,
its been 3 weeks since i put the germinated seeds into the AG space saver 6. Everything is coming along nicely but yesterday i went to check on the girls and one stem had snapped in half and the plant was tipped over ! I think it was due to the fan being to close .... because the stems are nice and thick, it was just the wind blowing on her was too strong) Luckily it didn't break all the way through ... so i did some quick research and found that if you cut a straw in half and wrap it around the stem that it will hold it together and allow it to grow back (supposedly stronger then it was before ... ?)
Besides that i did a flush on friday and and currently running pure water through the system (PH 5.5 - 5.7) to help cure the nute burn ..... and i have decided to NOT put "2 AG nute tabs" in every sunday and instead only use 1 a week. (half on sunday and the other half on wednesday)
Take a look at the pictures and check out the straw technique to hopefully heal the broken stem !
Also the 4th plant that has been struggling is starting to look very nice .... still small but she is definitely growing .. which it didnt seem like she was doing last week (could have been the nute burn ?)
Let me know what you think,
