Hey everyone. I have a problem, but its not to serious.. Anyways My plant has been flowering for 2 weeks now and IT WONT STOP GROWING TALLER!! i have it set up in a grow box but it grew up and out with in 3 days of me putting it into the damn box.. I mean its budding nice but still growing taller and taller what do i do? when will this stop?

Looks like you have a stretchy sativa strain, you can try to tie her down or tie her top to a side, thats what I have had to with some grows.

You can just get a shoelace and pull it around the main stem and tie it to something.

Weird. I have one plant that is 7inches tall and the other is almost 3 feet and they were planted at the same time from the same bag

I've started 3 grows in the AG...everytime I get different size plants, but it varies which pods. If that helps anyone. I think it depends on the strain and health of the plants. As long as they keep growing and look healthy, I don't sweat it. The grow I have going on now is my first full AG grow and I'm impressed with stealth vs outdoor. I've previously started them in the AG and moved them outdoors. The overall advice I would give to any newbie (such as myself) is to make sure to keep the roots oxygenized via bubble stone, extra lights and regularly feed. Don't get too complicated because you can drive yourself crazy!! Happy environment = happy plants!!

Has anyone tried adding a little molasses water in the AG??? I'm tempted but afraid to gunk up the pump. I figured I would dilute the molasses before adding.

what are those "lightbulb holder/stand" things called? like, just plug a bulb into a flat stand, then plug that into the wall

is there such a thing? google has failed me :(

And is there one you can attach Y-clamps to, to double its bulb-ness?

Goosenecks are friendly for moving in limited space as well, not as cheap as clamps, but you can usually find them at K or Wal - Mart for $10-15

:spew:...update
i switch the (3) 26w cfls to 40w and along with the ag lights on 12/12, putting in 1/2 ag booster nute tab every other day on fillup. the dwarf is growing faster then the tall one and the tall one has grown about 5" in the past week
the dwarf is flowering but the tall one is not. last 2 tip pics are the tall one...
2nd grow :peace:

I think you are suppose to spray on the actual plant, not put it in the base. Ive never tried it but it seems logical that molasses would EVENTUALLY gunk the shit out of your base, pump, everything!!!

Go to home depot. They have exactly what you are talking about. I saw these little fixtures that plugged directly into the wall and you just screw the bulb onto that.. they were cheap too def less then 10bux... they sell ysplitters there for 2bux aswell.... and dont forget the good ole trusty clamp lights they sell for like 6-8bux...

GOOD LLUCK!

something like that, perhaps? Only thing i've found so far, on EBay for a pricey $20!

HOME DEPOT!!!!!

just got a thermometer today at petco, looks like my AG res is in the 80s!
is that too high, and if so, how can i drop it down?

also bought some ph up/down, so any recommendations or vet. tips on it?
AG res holds like 1 gallon, right?

Yeah, after some careful thinking, I concluded probably not a good idea. I had just read alot on molasses and was hyped up on the idea as I like organic grow methods. I decided to try some on my outdoor plants. I'll have pics of my mini greenhouse up sometime next week!:peace:

Even though I probably shouldn't have, I decided to pluck a few buds that looked farily ripe off my lady that's been flowering for about 8 weeks. She's not quite ready yet, but things are VERY DRY around here and it's the holiday weekend. Anyways, GOOD SMOKE!!! The ol' man totally agreed!!! A little harsh 'cause I planned to start flushing next weekend, but not bad. We're impressed with the quality!!! Again, thanks for the encouragment and sharing of the knowledge. I'm TOTALLY psyched I can do nice indoors grows year round and have a nice "flow"!! I also have learned what to feed my babies, etc...so I know my outdoors grow will be the best ever too!!:joint::peace:

If its the Ph Down Stuff from the pet store..... I usually drop about 10 drops + nute tab per gallon... that has been my system since the 1sst grow and it did not negatively affect my plants... nice and green... usually..lol
