i suggest you topp them and let them recover for a wee then go 12/12,

you NEED and external timer, the AG dosnt a 12/12 setting

as for the light, i would just scew some hooks in the AG hood and hang it with chains or something

Pics would help, but you cant overwater in hydro, if you get some pics up i can diagnose the problem
 
Thankx SICC, so I'm taking it that the timer is going to over ride the AG setting and timer. So then it really doesn't matter which selection I have it on correct?? Thanks again man for everything.

cool, thanks again man.. i'll keep ya posted and check with ya if i run across any problems. hopefully i'll get it right so i wont have wasted my time so far.. but if so i guess its moreso trail and era right.
 
So does anyone have any experience with using hair rollers rather than the sponges that come with the AG? I just cut mine to the height of the pod itself and then placed the germinated seed around 2 seedling sizes down. The only thing I notice is that he water that is running underneath doesn't seem to soak into the hair roller very well.
 
i just got back from out of town on tuesday after being gone since last wednesday had someone watching my AG while gone but didnt do well.. the top of a couple leaves were burnt and my lighting wasnt on cause they were so close to the light, so i dont know how long they went without light. but since then a couple leaves on the bottoms look like they are getting dry and dying.. what can be the problem or are they going down slow..

So 2morrow I'm changing to my 12/12 after week of recovery from topping them off. So how long b4 the buds appear or whatnot.. I'll post updated pictures when get da chance later n da week.
 
They will show Sex with in 14 days of 12/12. males tend to show first, so that should help you out, but make sure you wait it out, i have almost killed two plants thinking they were males and then i woke up to white hairs :weed:
 
Cool, so take it that right now is to early to tell the sex? Also not sure why or what is causing this but I say maybe once a week when looking at da plants I notice that one of the plants is leaning to the side like it appears to have fallen over or whatnot. But then if I take it an lean it back up maybe holding it up with a leaf from the other plant it's ok say maybe the next day. Y is this and I guess the good thing or crazy thing is, is that it's da same plant everytime that does this but like I said if set it back up, the next day it's like nothing happened.
 
yea not too sute man, is it firmly into the grow net, those plastic things are supposed to snap in the AG top base
 
Yea they are in nice an good, it's kinda like it gets top heavy or some sh*t cause not the whole thing leans just the top part. Like it was leaning yesterday around 1pm, I lifted it back up then round midnight after work I looked at it an you would never know it had happened, it's werid. But it's starting to kinda think it's somehing with the plant cause then this morning I took notice that maybe two of the leaves at base are starting to weap *spell check*. also is it fine to take some of the lower branches off cause some have started to actually break off guess cause of them being so big an heavy.. Let me know if picture needed as I can get some after work 2nite
 
hello i have an aerogarden first time grow, i was wondering when should i start veg period 2 weeks after seeding? i have a post its called 1st grow in aerogarden deluxe can anyone give me some tips?
