Aerogarden Issue - PICS

3 weeks into flower under 400w hps.

Using 20ml/gal of botanicare pro bloom (2.5-2-5). I change the 1gal aerogarden res every 3 days with fresh nute solution. I top it off with distilled water between feedings.

Using GH ph test kit (the one where you add drops and check the color) - ph is between 5-6.5.

1 large airstone in the res.


The bottom leaves look like nute burn but the tops look like some sort of deficiency. Any ideas?

over nute it looks like. Not sure with aeroponics but a flush then a lower ppm of nutes should fix. The plant will not repair the damaged tissue so look at new growth to see if all looks good. Also make sure you have enough air flow.

btw i dont have and cant afford a tds meter - but im hoping a thorough washing out and refill of the res every 3 days prevents buildup

i also rinse the roots when i replace the res water

im using walmart brand distilled

btw, for those unfamiliar with botanicare - 20ml/gal is half strength

if the leaves are kinda hard to the touch on edges its over fertalized. Some strains are weird and respond differently to nutes. maybe run a few days with just water then start in at 12ish ml\gal?
