Ok guys got my little garden growing its 4 weeks now.. This is the furthest i have gotten n this is my 4th time.

I have a closet set up so i wasnt sure if my plants were dying from heat stress and or nute burn. I have been able 2 keep my closet door open 24/7 n control the temp between 77-82..

My plants were looking nice n helathy for 2-3 weeks. I put in the recipe for success kit n leaves started turning colors. I have since changed the water with no food just 2 see if it gets better. Here are some pics.


Roots look Healthy( no pic) i am using 2 Airstones

He guys plants look good 2 me i have since clipped the bottom leaves that weren't receiving any light. I took these pics earlier today 9/21.

Also when i get close 2 the plants there is a faint smell of MARY JANE!!!!!!!!! Lol sweet.

hey man i would really want take that ducktape off but looking good when i get my camera today i will post my grow today in the Aerogardeners sub.

Umm....chris is right. Get rid of the duct tape. I know a lot of people use it and it may keep a stock car together at 200 miles an hour but there are better ways to close off the extra holes. A/G sells some great plugs that can be reused many times. I haven't found anything better.

Hey Guys Thanks for all the advice. Yes i Have aluminum foil under that tape. I will update with some pics tomorrow. I am getting a Tent Tomorrow Hydro Dark Room.


Now Few questions i need a Ventilation Fan, and what else?

Hey guys My babies are a Month n a week. Up until 10/2 i was using the AG lights with the 2 bulbs, I now have a hydro dark room tent with these lights http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006HRQTK/ref=oss_product.



Few questions....

When do i know exactly that flowering is taking place? I assume im at least a month away from flowering right?
125 watts should i increase that now or wait?
Looking at my pictures should the light be lowered a little more?
The Plant on the right seems 2 be doing okay but the new leaf growth on the stems isnt as much as the one on the left, Should i snip some leaves so that more light can come through?

What do you mean, "18/6 with lights up until yesterday 10/2"?

Flowering occurs when you switch to 12/12 light schedule.
Adding more light is usually good. CFLs dont penetrate folliage effectively. Check out my sig for example:wink:
Definitely lower your lights.
Thats personaly preference.

Thanks 420 i meant 18 on 6 off. I was using the AG lights up untill 10/2 meaning the date 10/2.

So the light should be right on top of the plants 3-6inches away?

Also for the first 3 weeks i blundered n i had the light schedule on 12/12 thinking that was right the 4th week when i started this thread i switched to 18/6 so how much longer should i wait.

I do apologize if my questions are redundant I do try to read the forums as well as other sites 2 gain info, but there is just so much Grasp i just want to get it right. Thanks again

Alright guys these pics i took earlier. The plant on the left is 12' the one on the right about 8. This week makes 2 months since the i started growing these. I have no idea what strain they are i was just told "its good shit" lol. My question is do they look ready for flowering? They are curling not too much but i do see curling at the tips, n some leafs a burn marks. I noticed this sudden change last week so i changed the reservoir n i havent added any of the Technaflora recipe for succes kit products.

Also what kind of light bulb should i get for floweing. i have a hydrofarm light kit with a 125 w florescent bulb now. My plants have also been growing in a tent for the past 2 weeks n i will b setting up My inline fan with carbon filter this weekend.

Few Questions

1. I see a lot of ppl with ducts connected to there grow lights n inline fan? Im assuming this is 2 keep the light from getting to hot is why the inline fan n duct are connect directly to the grow fixture correct?

2. its been almost a week i havent really seen any significant improvement with the curling but i do see new leaf growth on the stems. Is it stale air that is causing the plants to curl?


3. Does anything look wrong with my plants and or set up let me know?.


P.S i have aluminum foil covering the holes than sticky paper n tape.
