well i know i am a newbie but i see you have no responses so ill put my 2 cents in. everyone ive talked to has different successes with different stuff. i personally didnt like jiffy plugs (stayed to moist) rapid rooters took longer to root and grow (personal experience only) rockwool is a hit or miss some are perfect some stayed to moist and got root rot, oasis im just trying and really like it doesnt stay to moist really airy, and i just bought a aerocloner (bubble cloner?) so i will post when i figure it out. hope this helps.

Im a newbie too but I think there is a difference between aero cloners and bubble cloners.

Aero: The clones aren't submerged under water, they dangle and are misted.

Bubble: The clones are submerged under water and are bubbled with the air stone.

I heard aero is more effective. I read that some people see roots within 5-10 days but that also depends on the strain and the water temp and humidity levels.

Would love to see some more people post on this thread. I'm going to be getting ready to take 30 clones off a female plant here in about 20 days and I still haven't figured out the best way to do it. Any advice? People's favorites?? Also any reason I can't pull clones off a plant that's got 20-25 days into the 12/12 cycle?

aero will root slightly faster but i would recommend bubble due to simplicity. i had a aero that i converted to bubble because i couldnt get the aero thing down for some reason.

Do bubble cloners actually submerge the stems? I thought it was just water with airstones, with the plants stems suspended over it, only getting the mist off the bubbling water? I'm going to experiment with an aero cloner. I got everything, just need to put it together. It would seem an aero setup, on a 1min on /4 min off cycle would give the plants a wet/dry cycle that would promote root growth. I tried a aero-styled cloner a couple years ago, but ran it 24/7 and all it did was create slime and rot plants because i couldn't keep the small amount of water(2-3gals) cool enough.
