aeroponic propagtor ?

hi i have been trying to make clones with this ,,, watched a video on u tube followed the instructions

but they wont root .... i have the water right tempture ,, cut clones as normal , the clones are not in jiffy cube , or any soil there just hanging in the foam holder


any one have success cloning using the aeroponic propagtor please give me some tips

ya ill give it a go been 2 weeks no sign of roots the ones i had in jiffo cubes have rooted , was hoping the aeroponic propagator would be faster

I have used an aero cloner for years with 100% success. Just pop them in and two weeks later transfer to vegger.

do you use any nutrent in it like formulx or just plane water and do you leave the water running 24/7 or have it on timer superstoner

high man, if you want to master cloning for ever then i'd suggest you try the ice-tube-tray method which is simply a passive, wick-style of cloning. (a bad run for me is 80% rooted, i typically get nearly 100%)

that won't hold true for a noob who is already struggling, my way is passive, almost a put and forget kinda thing, ...and no pumps that can fail, nor sprayers that can clog, just a little wick action goin' on.

...not to mention cheap, one of them ice-tube-trays runs about $5.00 bucks at Amazon and a bag of vermiculite runs about the same and thats all you need.

back in my early days i tried all kinds of stuff trying to maximize my yields and all along all i had to do was simplify.

OK, so I guess when I was a noob and had never grown and I built my first cloner that I should have had them die? It is the easiest way, just pop them in and forget them for 2 weeks. Cost? Easily can be built for less than $20-30 and lasts for years. Never lost a pump and never heard of a clogged sprayer in a cloner. In fact, I've never worried about them in any of my aero units.

did you even read the dudes original posting? ...where he says he's struggling and can't make it work?

maybe he isn't as gifted as you so needs a simpler way to go, ...and while you have been blessed to have run all this time without a problem, maybe the less gifted among us need something simple and 'fool' proof.

Low Pressure root misting is not a good idea for mmj at any stage. Dialing in wet/dry cycles is a bitch that often leads to clone death. The fool/noob-proof solution is utilizing a bubbler 24/7, similar to justanotherbozo's.

The key is to use a high volume air pump + a smallish tote- mine is 3G I use ~ 2g of water, leaving ~ 4" of air space.

My air pump has a 4 head manifold and pumps out 45L per hour. I use 4 large Oxystone cylinders (they make great tiny bubbles and last forever) RO water + a pinch of sea salt (<80ppm). I scrape the lowwer 1" of the clone and sometimes slice it down the middle to create more surface area. >95%+ success

thanks for all the advice guys i think by using cloaning gell and formulex in the aero propergator might of messed it up on me

trial and error :)
