I was debating on posting this yet, as nothing is for sure yet, but as it looks right now, i will be getting a SALE: 1000W Maverick Sun Steel Encased ballast switchible between MH and HPS, with Maverick sun Air cooled wide spread reflector and your choice of MH or HPS bulb: All for just: $379.99 I know it ain't the cheapest but it ain't the most expensive, lol, so when you take into account i will be seeling me 400w with hoirilux enhanced bulb for $250, it is a pretty good upgrade

I can just imangin how it would help my grow!! Wish me luck that the deal goes through!!

Different people, different situation, but you could make something for maybe $250 and get a similar set up.

Overall, I guess it does sound like a good deal (if you pay retail for things).

Either way 1000w of aircooled light will be awesome. I'm in full support. Just remember you are going to need a bad ass fan to go along with the new light.

What type of fan do you think i need to get?, i just got a prt-time job so i will be able to make investments soon, i hope, lol.

i always try to buy retail because i always get warrenties, just the way i try to do it with everything.

So it's obvious i compllety fucked up all my time tables, i have no real idea how long i'v been doing this for, or how long i put into flower, if i was't so high all the time i would go back and check.

So i haven't really done alot of updateing latly because there has't really been too much to say. I've been giving them phc orrect water but it seems like i am at a standstill. i plan on SLOWLY bumbing up the nutes , and am now consider a extra month of growing ,instead of june2 when i hoped they would be ready. It seems like for a decent yeild, i will need 1 more month, i am gonna go 2 extra weeks of beasty bloomz and then swith to cha ching. they are definitly looking awesome with PURE WHITE hairs, lol, they look quite beautiful

So here is a update on my clones, i have taken the dome off the plant that is old, and even though it's turning yellow at the sides, new growth seems to be starting at the top.

As fpr the younger clone, it seems to be doing ok so far, i can;t remeber how long since to cut it, but it must have been at least a week. she seems to be doing fine aswell.

But don;t take my word for, see for yourself, and PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK ABOUT THE CLONES as i am totally unsure of how clones are spose to lookat this stage.

They are doing great man! That older one is looking awesome, just like the first one I took only a little farther behind time wise.

Keep it up! Are you giving the bigger clone any nutes yet? If not, you should think about using a weak solution on them FoxFarm user, right?

Try 1 tsp big bloom, 1/4 tsp tiger bloom, and 1/16 or so tsp open sesame. All per gallon.

Give it about 150-175ml when its ready to be watered of the above solution.

I have not gave the bigger one nutes, because while i took off the dome just the opther day, i think i kept the bottle so moist, the soil has been very wet, so really it has never been "watered" , as in poured, but just the bottle misting, so i think i will let it dry abit and then take your advixe with a small amount of my fox farm in thwe amount you suggested, at the same time i wll be increasing my nutes in my grow, as a sidfe note, do you think the plant with the curling leaves in my grow room is getting anybetter?

Thos might be ready to flush by june 2nd. Look about ready for cha ching. You get the most abundant growth in the last few weeks don't worry man!

I would even be happy wiith flushing that early at this point, i have added on alot of time because i made afew mistakes throughout this whole process, lol, i can't wait to see how they start looking when i start giving them cha ching!!

Yeah you don't really see weight until the 3 weeks with the cha ching, and then you can flush for like 2 weeks if you want (at least a week if you can), so they have all that time to kill off their leaves and pump shit into the buds right at the end and this is good fast growth too. The oepn sesame weeks and the beastie bloom weeks are more for opening the buds and filling in the gaps between teh nodes

Its hard to say. It all about timing and listening to your girls.

Have you noticed any maturation? Are the hairs turning amber yet?

What about bud growth patterns? Are they still swelling quickly, have they mostly stopped growing bulk?

I went to Cha Ching too early and switched back to Beastie. I am going to wait and switch until about 10% of my pistils have turned amber or so. But you kinda have to green thumb this one IMO. We soil growers are NOT finishing in 8 weeks flower usually, so the FF feeding schedule can only be used as a guide.

I say once real maturation sets in and the buds quit swelling as much, then switch.

If thats now, switch now. If not, wait. Let your plants dictate guidelines and schedules. Just respond to them. Listen to them.

I have not noticed any hairs turning amber yet. they also seem to have stopped growing as quickly as they were, however i will think i will give at most 2 more weeks of beasty, then switch, i want to make sure i ghet the biggest yeild possible!!

I'm pissed man, you have 3 - 5 star votes and I only have 4 of them... and my journals 70 pages long. I guess you get extra credit for taking your own clones.

Keep them girls happy.

Oh, and about the warranty thing... I really wish I bought my laptop full price right now because it is messing up on me and the cost to fix it would be much more than the difference buying a good, new, under-warranty computer would have been. So yeah, not my style, but I kinda wish it was. (or really wish it was, haha)

I must admit though, i am feeling alittle nervous!! I haven't turned it on yet, and it won;t be untill 6 am, and i will be asleep, though i doubt i will sleep because this is a big step for me. I am wworried in a way because of increase usage in energy, i am worried about a fire, afraid my blower won;t be enough to cool it, etc....

I guess i'll find out in abit what kind of effect thiss will have, i just hope i am ready for it.

thats weird i post like 30 pics on my updates never had a problem, only problem i have is typing a huge update then loosing it because i got signed off but sos (saveoftenstupid) after that happens my update is short compared to the first one


Nice man got the light hooked up.....did you hook up your carbon filter to? then hook it up to the outside ?? no pics of that part so just wanted to know....how the temps now in there ?

edit: how are those light hangers working for you? dont want to be a downer but i heard of one guy one guy out of tons of people that use them i am guessing well that one guy had his hangers mess up and the light fell on the plants, i wanted to get those been asking people on here but no replys so let us know how they work for you if you would dam this is a long edit late
