hey all, just thought i would start a grow journal. I wanted to do one for my first grow, but never got a camera. Let me know what you guys think:leaf:

Grow Room Specs:
Temp/humidity:77.0 lights on 68.0 69.0 off
400w HPS - Air cooled hood
Walls covered in polysheild
Hood distance from tops - 8 inches


Plant Info/Misc.:
Medium: Pro-mix
Container:5 Gallon pots(dunno why i used 5gal, but i did)
Ph: roughly 6.5-6.8
Nutes: Botanicare Pro-Bloom - Full Strength
Botanicare Pro-Grow - 1/3rd Strength
FoxFarms BigBloom - Full Strength

i love to smoke really heavy couchlock stuff, so i thought i would grow this, i dont know if the 21% is a real percentage, but it sold me.

my first grow was afghani #1[couchlok}got it from marc emery , alot of these ppl dont know wats good til they smoke almost pure thc. plants.i ordered 2 pacs of sensi g13 hashplant seeds. gonna do all 20 ,2 600 wtt hps . and clone the shit out of it . in my avitar heres blue moonshine, 21% thc soaking wet thc , had an ora aboutit so shiny.

Main cola seems to be growing slowly compared to the other side shoots

im kinda new at growing but i have never seen a side shoot grow another one? lol its probably not even an issue, last 2 pics are what im talking about

roger that, i planned on getting a 400w MH but the guy at the hydro shop told me to just use HPS to save money on a new light, he said that the "sunflower" would stretch a bit more than one under a MH. But my nodes are tight and its a bush, so i dont know.

Same thing my hydro man told me. He actually told me no one really uses MH anymore? (He must not be a member)

most hydro shop guys no nothing about actualy growing marijuan due to the fact that they are "old timers" and are use to groeing crap :p.. but ya nice grow...

thanks for the comment, but im almost 90% sure he grows weed because he always knows what i need and what for, maybe im wrong. hes young too :|

Two of the guys in my growshop i know grow the bollox weed.

Most hps lamps are tweaked to give out more blue light these days so they perform well in veg too, but even before that hps was still fine for veg.

im glad i used it, i saved money and it works perfect for veg. I use a hortilux eye bulb

So im guessing you got yours from your local hydro shop? How do you vent your hps and what are you growing in? Closet?
