Afghan Kush, to top or not to top, that is the question.

But my grow is gonna be 4 plants in 5 gallon smart pots, under 400 watts MH/HPS in a secret jardin DR100(3x3x6), Fox Farm Ocean forest with added perlite, and I'm still up in the air whether to switch from the Fox Farm nutes to the botanicare line.

I am planning on growing 2 Afghan Kush, 1 L.A. on, and 1 Pineapple express.
So my question is: I have 3 weeks to veg, to get a good yield and even canopy should I LST, Top, or ect......? I have always been a topper, but can not find any info on what the Afghan kush reacts best to, and I want to use a methodd that will be effective for all of my plants but particularly the Afghan Kush. I hear Pinaple express is good to top same with the L.A. confidential.
And if any of you guys might have some input, experience, or suggestions it will be deeply appreciated.
