Afhgan Kush Ryder 1st Grow

yo thx for tuning in bro..i just spotted couple hair coming out but i couldnt take up close pics due to my shitty camera lucky i have one clear pic right here lol tell me if that is hair right there in the center of the pic:mrgreen:
Looks like a pre flower to me! congrats!

The pic's a bit fuzzy, but it looks like it! :D The hairs almost look like white pairs of antenna when they come in, though the first are sometimes just a single hair poking out of the little calyx

so now that i know it's a female i'll be changing my lights spectrum to 2700k and put her in a bigger pot cuz i see roots coming out of the bottom of this pot this morning..also just went to home depot and pick up some odor control and some nutes for flower..i cant afford foxfarm nutes right now so...yeah if this one any good for flowering or not somebody tell me please:eyesmoke:

That nute is good for flowering especially if your on a low budget :) If you still have the receipt I would exchange it for Schultz Orchid its much stronger but I heard the results are better.

alight thx for the advice bro i'll be testing this one out and see how she responds to it then see how things go

Whoa make sure it's organic!
Nonedible plants like orchids and violets can eat anything they want, it won't affect humans.
But you are about to smoke/eat this plant you're feeding, you don't want to eat some wierd shit.

Just saying be careful, I don't know anything about the fert specifically.

Are you going to LST it? If you are, I have some current pics of mine with LST I took yesterday. Let me know and I'll post em.

Is she still vegging?
A lot of growers start feeding bloom nutes a week before flower.

My honest advice would be to feed her veg nutes until a week before you flower, and then mix half bloom half veg nutes for a week before you flower.
Then switch to bloom nutes and change lights to 12/12.

If she's vegging you want like 4/5 lights to be 6500k for most strains.
If she's flowering you want to do the same thing with 2700k's, with just a couple 6500k's to promote density.

Oh and another thing I remember about flowering,
a lot of people feed her veg nutes for the first couple weeks of flower, during the early stretch phase.
And then switch to flower after the stretch.

But as you can see there's a hundred different methods, it all boils down to personal choice.

Oh and she's looking beautiful.

i fed her 1/4 nute strength couple days ago and now i see yellow leaves(pic 3&4)..is it nute burn? or these leaves dont get enough lights?

she's in flowering state now i changed my final lights to 6x23watt 2700k..i feed her the African Violet nute every other day and so far she's not complaining very much although couple tips burn, light schedule is 20/4 all the way :-P
