Hello - I am new to the site hoping that I could get some advice on how to heal a plant following chlorine toxicity.
I left the plant with a « friend » who used swimming pool water to water the plant in the mornings for a month (I know…) It was at the very end of the vegetative stage and we think it started flowering a couple of weeks after he got in (two weeks ago).
During the month he had it the weather was sunny every day and the temperature around 30C, So the plant would have been thirsty. It looks terrible now - please see what it looked like before he got it on the 1st August and what it looks like today (4th September). Photos attached.
I have flushed the soil with clean water hoping to get rid of any chlorine and am going to give it beneficial bacteria that would have been destroyed by the chlorine.
I would be very grateful for any ideas or advice any of you would be kind enough to offer.
