Thanks chainseeker, they are in the end of the 5th week....finally starting to fill out some...
some recent pics....The sprouts are 17 days since germ.....

Well I'm down to the last remaining part of the AG and its the too small res....ha ha
I removed the hood completely....replaced it with five 43 watt CFLs and one 23watt....with the fourteen 23 watt cfls already going the cabinet is over 500 watts....No heat problems at all...might try HID next grow....I thought it best to do it this way to be safe....really hate to lose them now....
They still drink a gallon a day, but because of the abundance of roots a full res only last's about 8 hrs until it runs dry...so I fill it 3 times a day...and it looks like weeks to go...I can't wait to get the new res in the flower cab....Huge difference....
The buds are finally getting nice and plump...I was beginning to wonder what was wrong...I'm starting to think I might get a decent yield after all...fingers crossed...

Really though the DWC thing is really amazing.....the larger res is so much less hassle, I cant wait to retire the AG .... Gonna grow the tomatoes that came with it...
I topped my little ones twice now in about a week..first time on day 11 with only 2 nodes...then again on day 19 or 20 I topped the tops.... each plant had 4 coming out so I topped all 4 in each, "what the hell"...Day 22 and they are fine but looking a little crowded....
Anybody know how much is to much?
I'm thinking scrog....gotta control the height better this round........
Gonna throw them into flower soon....I got a feeling 2 are males....Definitely the big one closest to the fan, maybe all of them....looking for one girl, hoping for two....

As long as you space time out before the tops everything should be fine, you want to give em about a week maybe 5 days to recover, i always wait a week to make sure.

Its funny I kinda don't care as much about these as I have the first batch so I hacked away...i think they are all males anyway....I need some help with the bean selection...i'm a little lost...I like northern lights but so many out there... got any suggestions?

NL is good, but like you said its alot to choose from haha.
Any strain will be fine, just pick something you want to try and grow, or something that looks good, im not really good in suggesting strains lol

The last 3 pics are today...Almost done...The last 2 pics show the 2 strains with lower buds right next to each other under one of the light banks. Pretty much exact same growing conditions...HUGE DIFFERENCE....
The Giant in the back is easily 50% larger and thicker. More odor as well...
In general I lucked out....haha

Thanks.....nope didn't have a clue...they still haven't stopped getting taller...i just keep tightening the wires down. I put 4 hooks of the side of the res....Trichs are clear to cloudy....no amber any where yet,"cause I'm a hunt'n me some damn amber Ya'll"...gonna try a sample next week...woo hoo.....Oh wait a minute " yeee Haw"............Feelin all southern fried here...
