Based on your smoke report, if you were happy with the snapped budty guys and yeah xmas is gonna be a relaxed one this year hahah
, then it will only be better. So flush away!!p.s I only flush once then leave without water in the last week (if you grow organic then that should be enough - some say you don't even need to flush with organics). 48 hours of dark before cutting.

Real bone of contention among growers... I have done a pictorial of a flush in my first journal. I use about twice as much water as the pot size (sometime less - I am not too anal about it.)Fill the pot right up to the brim and let it soak through and keep filling. Eventually the water coming out the bottom becomes fairly clear. I generally stop watering then. and that's it. no more water-io for my girls after that (another choice you need to make yourself though.) Some people shock their plants before the dark period with freezing cold water. Each to their own.do i basically give more water than usual for the flush? or the same only plain? tyvm DST

Even before you flush your plants will start having yellow leaves. Those buds are very thirsty right now.The prob i got is i work all day when my plants are in the dark time so its hard to get a pic without the lights on. Ive taken them out of their room and bought them in the kitchen to give a better pic quality.......... i hope. As you can see the lower buds are progressing with more amber pistils than the top colas. The prob is now what to do- the plants are starting to suffer, however the main colas keep getting bigger and bigger with still a load of white pistils. As you can see from the leaves they are getting very deficient in whatever as on one plant only the top cola leaves have green hue in their leaves still whereas its brown leaves ahoy thereafter. The other plant isn't so bad but is starting to get yellow tips and blotches with some leaves rolling upwards like a canoe shape- hmmm. So do i start flushing in fear of my one plant is slowly dying or do i let it go another week before flush i was hoping to only leave this until next Friday max-that will take them to 13 weks since switch (12 weeks from start of factual flowers starting. What do ya think guys? BTW i've given them epsom salts also, feeding them 6mls bloom, 4 mls molasses and added these time release nutrients i found for fruiting that have added potassium and mag but i cant stop the yellowing progressing- but alas it doesn'tt seem to be stopping it

Now i know some peeps are gonna say i harvested too early but these plants are 14 weeks + since switch and with xmas looming i couldnt wait any longer
Most of the lower trichs were all cloudy and starting to turn, just the tops of the main col;as were being stubborn and may well be a little underdone. However after a cola snapped in half the other week and i been smoking it ever since i gotta feeling im not gonna be disappointed with the harvest. Im just happy its got this far with my first grow
I wanna thank everyone for their kind comments offering support and guidance- very much appreciated guys, couldnt have done it without ya
Here's some pics of the manicured plants before axe time and a few after. I'll let em dry on the branches a bit before i manicure more, maybe not the best plan but i had a hangover from hell yesterday so couldnt face anymore at the time
i'll have to let you know the weight when they are dry, but feel free to make some guesses beforehand

I am really crap at guess the amount, weight, size, etc, games....so I'll skip that one Whatever you are happy with, that's what it weighs.
Are you turning the light out whilst drying? or do you have more girls on the go? I would def not have the light on with drying bud above it (keep in dark place or bud will degrade) Or perhaps that was just for the photo....

yeah they in dark, the light was just on whilst i hung them up, light all off now with a dehumidifier in there and fans going

Im stoned so pics will have to follow later, lol!
But just thought it was time to update, after drying in my freezing garage and not drying within 5 days i swapped em to under my stairs, think as a result they dried a bit too much as its quite warm under there and , theres very little condensation in the jars ive put them into when i looked at them the next day... hmm. BUT hmmm it smokes smooth so dont know whether its worth re-hydrating them with a damp sponge in the pots>?
Anyway after roughly weighing them even in the slightly overdry state they are in the weigh in at roughly 8OZ +. (113 grams) Which to be honest is 8oz more than i thought i was gonna get when i started out! lol
So not bad for 2 plants you reckon? Im pleased anyhow.
