Agnot's first grow

Hello friends, I just thought I would post some pics of my first grow. I first made a mistake by just using yard soil but I was able to transplant them into larger pots and they "seem" to be doing great. They are 3 weeks old as of this sunday and I am hoping they are a good size for their age. I'm using 5 35watt CFL's. I had some trouble with yellowing leaves but they seem well on the way to recovery now that I have transplanted them. Enjoy the pics and any advice or complaints are more than welcome.

Welll moving right along here. The first pic the plant has reached 7" tall and has 7 nodes on it so it "I hope a she" is a bushy little thing. 2nd pic the plant is now 10" tall with 7 nodes. and the 3rd is the plant I had some trouble with yellowing which has started to fade away back to a nice green color at 8" with 7 nodes. I topped the plant in the 3rd pic just to try it and its recovering very well. I am hoping to flower here in about a week and a half so it gives her sometime to recover from me topping her. Would love to hear what you all have to say about the progress I've made on my first grow. Thanks again for this great forum the info has been amazing. And yeah I know I should not be using the tin foil but I'm keeping an eye out for hot spots. Where I'll be flowering has been painted white and I will lose the foil.

Thanks for saying so. I think I over watered today their tips seem a bit droopy. If its one thing I've learned here is even if they are looking good and healthy now a lot can go wrong between seed and when it goes in your fav bowl lol

But I had to take a few more pics from a different angle. I think I'm becoming addicted to just looking at them from time to time. They are all just bagseed I've gotten over the last 9 or 10 months. I've noticed the one has much skinner leaves than the other two, So I'm thinking I have at least two different strains here but I have been known to be wrong before.

Well my 3 little babies are just at 4 weeks old and all almost a foot tall. With some advice posted here I've decided to start flowering them. I really would like to veg some more but with the CFL's and not having a ton of room I really don't want them growing into monster tall plants. I've added two more 35watt 3000K bulbs to help them do their best. Here are a few pics with the lights off you can really see how green they are.

Well they made it past their first 12 hours of dark and everything seems alright. The one plant I topped about a week and a half ago looks a little bit droopy but I would guess its from the shock of being topped then flowering. I'll keep a close eye on that plant.

Well day 3 of flowering. I have not noticed a lot of physical change in my plants. I assume they are still getting over the shock of half the light they were used to. I can smell them a bit more now in the room every now and then the fan will cross them right and send it my way lol. I have the one plant that's been topped she's "i hope" looking a bit droopy so I snapped some pics for ya. The other two seem to be doing very well. One is turning very bushy I've had to watch and make sure she's getting enough light from the sides. The third and final plant's stem is getting so thick, bigger than a pencil now and much less bushy than the other two and has much larger fan leaves when placed next to the other two plants. Any Idea's or thoughts are more than welcome.

Well I woke up this morning to the lights clicking on. Went to check my babies and I think one of my plants, the best one imo has one set of two very tiny hairs coming out right where they should be  There is no way my cam can take pics of it being so small. I'll keep an eye on "her" and as soon as I can I'll take some pics and see what you all think. Wish me luck...

Well its the start of day 8 of flowering. Lights clicked on and I checked each plant. And what did I find but wonderful white hairs on two of the three plants  Not sure about the third plant its not showing much of anything as of yet so the wait is still on with that one. I do have one question though. Is it safe to transplant while they are flowering? I really think they need to be in something bigger.

yeah its good to tranplant early into the flower about first week so do it now, and usually males show sex earlier so 3rd could also be female, they looking goood too so good job =D

I've been doing my best to keep them warm and clean. I have also gotten into a very strange habit of talking to them lol I mean talking to them a lot like someone might talk to a pet. And I tend to play a ton of music in the room they are in,

Got my three babies into their new pots. They seem happier already lol. And to top it all off my 4 seedlings got to move into the old pots. Everyone wins. And here in 7 or 8 weeks I hope I'll be the winner :joint: I also added two more 45watt 2500k CFL's into the mix. I do have one quick question. I picked up some bloom plus its 10-54-10 that should be good for flowering I think but should I wait a few days seeing how I just transplanted them and they will be stressed a little at this point?

Well its Day 9 of flowering. I'm pretty sure the one on the right is a male. I'm going to give him 24 hours to change my mind or he's outa there. The one plant that has shown to be a female is starting to get nice white hairs all over the top 4 nodes. Got them all moved into the closet. Fan blowing up from the center of them and right up into the attic. Feel free to give any thoughts or idea's.

Well I killed the suspect. I was pretty sure it was male, looked nothing like the female what so ever. So down to just the two. Posted a pic of the female my cam is just now able to get some pics that you can see but not well. On the good side I guess that means more light for the remaining two. The one I topped is not showing signs of being a male or female still. I'm sure its just from being topped so its lagging behind the others.
