fuck the cops. if all you have is pictures of weed on your comp fuck it. now if the raid was over a murder and there is searches or emails about the murder then I would be worried. thats sum nancy grace shit though

Yea that sucks ass...I dont know why they'd take the computer if it was just a drug search. Something tells me they were there for more reasons than you think.

Anyways, you're prolly fucked. If you have any illegal content on your hard drive (even if you delete it, they can recover it).

Next time you know you're getting raided...Rip your HDD out and drill the shit out of it with drill bits. Or throw it to the bottom of a lake.

Gutmann! that's it, it's like a 35 pass? it takes seriously a long time, it's the only way you can completely delete everything off the hard drive and make it completely unrecoverable without shashing it. A simple 3-5 pass will make it look like it did the job but like I said, the Govt has some clever ways to get it back.

the absolute method of hard drive wiping is just running a neodymium magnet over it a bunch. no smash smash or bs programs will do a better job than a rare earth magnet
